![]() Alhamdulillah I am 23 so in the popular group! ![]() BTW, Br. (or should I say Uncle.. j/k) Muadh's age shocked me! I mean, I wasn't expecting him to be older than even my Dad! May Allah give you a long life and may we benefit from your presence on SF. On the other hand, Br. Abdullah ibn Adam is quite young Alhamdulillah. Nice to see young kids...ahem...people ( ![]() Wassalam |

What is the majority of ages of all that participate on here? It's been some time that I have been thinking about what I should do to know about the age of my brothers and sisters on SF, so that I could submit my replies / opinions in the most appropriate way - in particular, when addressing a particular brother or sister. That was a very difficult issue as I could sense quite a few problems by declaring our respective age. One serious problem would be that young brothers and sisters could feel it embarrassing to reply to much older ones. Alhamdulillah, at least one of us has had the wonderful idea of not asking for each one's age, but to indicate one's age group. Alhamdulillah. I could guess that most of us here are quite young. Keep it up my young brothers and sisters. Insh'Allah. As one post correctly indicates, the younger one starts to follow the Deen of Allah (SWT), the more pleased Allah(SWT) is. The reward one gets when one is young cannot be compared to that a much older person gets. Brotherly yours farook |

![]() 25, but one catch, In my passport my Birth is the 1st of Jan. 1983 Whereas, in reality it's something like mid-December 1982. That's a shift of at least 15 days-could be more for all I know.! This is typical with us Bengali's, Due to not having the dates of birth recorded at the time of birth-An estimation was given by my parents and that too, because we were to come to the U.K. So if I never came to the U.K. I would probably have not known even round abouts what my Date of Birth is.! Another, issue with us lot that is very common, is having two names-a written/passport name and a common called name.! Was-Salaam, Suhail Amin |
