Just a quick question, The purpose of this jama'at is for the women to go. That means the woman's husband or father or son must be there with the men. I have seen two women with the same mahram before (ie. a sister and mother, or wife and mother), but you can't do brother and sister. This is honestly a very fruitful type of jama'at. |

Karguzari specifically is feedback/report on the experiences of the Jamaat brothers. What took place, where they went, the welfare/situation/Imaan of the people/majid where they were sent, the response of the people they gave dawah to; and from relating such experiences the responsible brothers can deduce the frequency of Jamaats that should be sent to such locality/city/country.
Also it works as an encouragement to others to go there for dawah purposes and also gives them an idea what to expect and to instill in them concern for the Ummah by being made aware of the real-life situation of Muslims throughout the world. But in the case I used personally above; it refers to feedback of how someone's life changed, which I suppose can also be termed as a Karguzari. Maybe someone knowledgeable can explain it better. --- Allahu Aalim |

^^^ and what DO the ladies do all day? the men get all their salahs in jamah, they do taleem, they go out on gasht/jawla, they clean the masjid, they do six points, they practice their surahs etc etc......so what do the women do??? The men set out a tarteeb for them in the morning. The women follow that. The jowla the men do, they tell men to bring their wives to a certain house. then, the women have taleem in the mornings with the women of the neighborhood, and in the afternoon, the men might come and from behind a curtain, deliver a talk to all the women. They pray, eat and sleep in the house (which is as it should be). They also do their 6 points, taleem, etc. and they enjoy it most of the time as it is bonding. For the men, this jama'at is mainly to facilitate for the women. jazakallah khayr. wa iyyaka. ps. i love the tablighi movement! (an 'accepted' movement if there ever was one!) I admire many things from it as well. |

One of my very close friend who we made effort on eventually came on Jamaat back in 1998, but he never could spend a night with the Tabligh brothers, meaning that he would go during the day with the Jamaat and come back in the evening cos he used to get homesick real fast. Anyway this same brother has since actually spent, 40 days, 4 months (Bangladesh, Pak), prompt with all his aamals and 3 days & is now Ameer of his town.
He keeps bugging me now! Wish he'd get off my back (just kidding) I'm the lazy one now .. lol. Strange how his life was totally changed by Allah Ta'ala. SubhanAllah .. he's an amazing brother! |

Asalamu alaikum
Just got back from masturaat (ladies) jamaat We went to London ... there was a man who came just because he thought his son (who is very involved) was getting involved into something wrong... he thought jamaat would promote violence and fanaticism and political trouble... he tried 3 days and he felt totally different... and agreed that the work was the thing to do Met one Afghani brother in a suit who recently immigrated... so he told us that the townsfolk muslims had told him not to wear sunnah and beard because it would be trouble for him.. he got scared and listened. Then, he came with the jamaat, stayed overnight, and next day appeared decked in sunnah and said he wouldn't take it off again. Many many more... |

I didn't care about Islam, until one day, I met a friend of mine, who I hadn't seen for years. He told me he was going on Jammat, so JUST for the sake of spening time with him, I went for a week, and my whole life turned around.
I went ONLY to spend time with him, but Allah Ta'ala put the means of guidance in it. |
