tbh i find most barbers get carried away when it comes to trimming like i went once and he goes this side is darker than other and started trimming it so it looked lighter but obviously that meant sniping shorter than fist length on sides, never went back again. been through at least 6 barbers in bradford, and tbh none of them can do anything without shortening what they are supposed to. grab the beard from all 3 sides and trim the excess..
tip to keep it neat believe it or not and even imam of mosque asked me how i got my beard lookign so good, and its using my wifes straighteneners lol makes it feel smoother and softer and a lot more neater. if you dont want to use a straighttener then use a hairdryer when your hair is wet and a comb to straigthen it, its the best way ive found, barbers just seem to trim and cut to extremes |

here's what i recomend grab a pair of scissors and do it yourself. just try to trim off small bits that stick out from the rest and then only trim in those areas that you need to in orde to give your beard a rounded look. this requires being a little brave and willing to trim your beard yourself. if you make a mistake you can usually make it work out by experimenting. |
