Um, last time I checked, wearing makeup and lipstick can attract the opposite sex and lead to fitna and goes against islam. Its not whether its permissable according to saudi monarchy law but according to islamic sharia. Women in islam are adviced to conceal their adornments and save it for their husbands in the privacy of their own homes.

Anyway, this report just goes through one ear out the other, another media piece added to the 100s that are out there to suggest that islam is oppressive to women, stipulates her rights blah blah blah and the fact that we have differing views adds the icing to their cake. I.e It creates the notion that islam, rather than being a very simple religion that safeguards and upholds the dignity and honour of women, is one that does the opposite effect and causes confusion and controversy.

I suggest all muslim women who immediately jump on the satanic bandwagon of "freedom" and "equal rights" to read the seerah of the ummal momeen and keep quiet! I applause the man who had the decency to inform her that she is enticing every man in the shopping centre, a few tears shed here will save her from a bucketful of tears for all of eternity in the akhira!

Islam taught to fullfill people's right not fight for it. If people are doing zulm on you, then islam teaches sabr ands salaah.

This is what students are being taught in university and school. To fight for "their" right. And when this is outside, being implemented now who will fullfill other's right when they are fighting for their rights?

She wasn't wearing proper Hijab, that's why he told her to exit the mall... He is a government official set in place by the ruler of the country to enforce the Islamic law, she was BREAKING IT, so he had every right to do what he did.

The lady is 100% right! That's why she called the Police to complain against the HARRASSMENT...and as you can see the clip, the police are asking the MUTAWE3EEN to leave the Mall. She knew the LAW was on her side otherwise she wouldn't create a fuss!

I admit the sister in the video behaved inappropriately and Allahu alam if the mutawa was doing his job accordingly or not. but one thing i must say is that, what brought this sister to come to this level.

When we muslim men live like hypocrites, and our so called shariah system implemented in Saudia is also full of hypocrisy , then i dont know who to blame, the sister or mutawa.

This is just a symptom of a deeper problem, I think the Saudi men/ authority has to be equally blamed who first letting filth creep into their society because of their own desires and then are getting surprised on whats happening to their women.

This actually applies to all muslims all over the world too. May Allah protect all of us from fitnah.

I'm not sure how things are run in Saudi Arabia but in Canada shopping malls/centres are not public property. People are invited to the property as guests but the mall owners have the right to turn people away. Likewise, stores within malls have the right to refuse service to people but of course it is bad business to do so (unless necessary). So, generally speaking, people don't get banned from or kicked out of malls and stores unless they go against rules etc. People generally have the ability to voice complaints with mall management and can also take their grievances to a lawyer.

Telling her to leave the mall is advice, and he can advice her about that all he wants, that's part of his job. By saying "Get out of the mall" he's advising her. She didn't want to listen, that's her choice, and like brothers said.. she will be questioned by Allah for her SINS. It's a sorry state that we are in that women (and men) are acting in such strange ways.

You're right I don't know the laws about women, cause I try not to go near them, and I try not to go to malls because of this type of Fitnah, and I know that if it were me I would have gotten angry at her. I very highly doubt (even if the women in the video said so) that the law says you can't tell women to cover properly (hijaab at least)

She is uncovered, and EVEN if the "law" says not to "harrass her" she still has to be covered properly, so it's still ANYONES Islamic duty to enforce that upon her.
