I am going to be writing about why Islam is the only true path to Heaven. My intention is for dawah purposes. Below, I have only started the beginning of my writing piece and will continue to add on as time goes on. Feel free to prove feedback and even for the atheists here, I hope I will be able to open your eyes to the correct path.
Draft #1: I will start from a general perspective of religion and rationality Draft #2: I will introduce the religion of Islam -- TO BE CONTINUED Draft #3: I will talk about Islamic beliefs and how no other religion can compare to Islam -- TO BE CONTINUED |

Draft #1:
For atheists who don't believe in God, then this thread serves no purpose for you unless you are willing to read what I have to say in an open minded manner. But you may wish to read on for your own curiosity. For religious people, who do in fact believe in an upper deity or God, or Multiple Gods etc. then please feel free to read on. I'm no Hamza Tzortzis (This guy uses science to prove the existence of God, which I feel is ineffective. Even though scientific miracles are mentioned in the Qu'ran, the Qu'ran is NOT a book of science and was not considered to be one in the first place either) but I'm going to provide a different persepective on Islam. I respect his efforts of spreading dawah, but I feel in his debates, especially against scientific professors, he is not always successful in coming up with clear arguments about the existence of God. First of all, please, for the sake of this thread and intelligent discussion, take away any stereotypes or things you are fed by the media about Islam. Please take a minute or two to rid your mind of all stereotypes, such as "All muslims are terrorists" out of your mind before reading ahead. I would wish that everyone who reads this, does so in an open minded manner and not to be judgmental - what we are taught to do in the early years of school, so please maintain some degree of modesty. How can we determine the explanation of our great universe? Sure, scientists can perform experiments, build theories and make speculations - but nothing will ever be definite. Science is a changing process and from centuries, people have shifted their understanding and minds when new theories or experiments were conducted. Therefore, with science we can never have a definite answer on anything. Sure we can have an educated speculation about everything in our universe, but nothing will ever be definite or 100% correct. So where can we figure out a correct understanding of our universe? Something that we will never be quick to judge or have a second opinion on? Our world cannot be something that happened out of chance, the only definite answer to this is that there has to be a creator for our world. A world that is such highly ordered and intricate cannot have sprung out of chance or a mere event. There has to be a reason for the existence of a creation; and there has to be an underlying creator for the entire world. Whether you believe in multiple creators or one creator, does not matter, but at this point at least we can come to a rational conclusion that there has to be some form of a creator that has caused this world and the entire universe to sprung open. |

Islam is the only true path to Heaven because Allah says it is. the end. However, never make the common mistake of saying that everyone else is going to hell, because they are not - there are mad people, people who have not heard of Islam or who have heard about Muslims in a way that they were not told of tawheed therefore they thought Muslims worshiped idols etc, there are the children of the unbelievers who never became adults, there are probably a few unitarian Christians in remote corners who never hear the name of Muhammad etc etc etc. If you read the writings of Shah Waliullah (ra) and Al Ghazali (ra) etc you will see that things in this way are not as black and white as sometimes they seem on this issue. If you want a piece of advice don't waste your time talking to Atheists or trying to invite anyone to Islam who is not interested in it. Allah has ordained it that only people with a good heart come to Islam, people with a good heart rarely stay Atheists for long. Don't waste your time on rotten apples who have eyes to see and ears to hear with, but they are blind and deaf when it comes to matters of the spirit, focus upon people who already have some sort of spiritual inclination and who you feel has a good heart. |
