I'm sure this has been debated for long now, but this latest interview really got me thinking about it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JOGy7PCaKo Look at the way in which the interviewer keeps insisting in it, and how Galloway "withdraw" from answering, but in a very "sensitive" way (as in trying not to say anything of kufr nor denying; just avoiding any clear reply). Either it's vote-"marketing" trying to give this impression to the Muslim community in order to get their votes and support, or he has accepted Islam.. Anyway may Allah guide him, amin. |

I think he has but he doesnt want zionist media linking his political activities to Islam. when he won bradford byelection, the media attributed his success to the pakistani muslim voters infact the opposing labour candidate was muslim aswell. The labour candidate went around saying that vote for me because "I am a muslim" so George responed by saying that "I have never drank alcohol in my life and I have worked for muslim cause around the world" to the nearest meaning. George got married aswell last month so the media were saying that he hasnt divorced his other wife so hes a muslim and this is his new second wife.

I don't know if he is or isn't, but he is against intervention in Syria yet has been championing the cause for the Bahraini Shi'a. Now, we all know it is a mixed bag when it comes to Western intervention in anything related to Muslim countries because it always comes with a huge price tag (usually financial and cultural slavery), but to not say anything against Bashaar while disparaging the shaykh of Bahrain makes him closer to Shi'a political ideology than Sunni. |

He is a Muslim. I actually know someone who got married to him. I don't think he wants to publicly announce he's a Muslim. You're a trustworthy source so no need for references.. : ) Just a last question in the light of brother abdulwahhab's post: does he have shi'ah leanings or is he a proper Sunni (with some messed up political perspective to due past legacies)? |

DO NOT RULE ON THE ISLAM OF A PERSON WHO DID NOT ANNOUNCE HIS ISLAM. So, it should be more the case of him not making his Islam public to the whole world, rather than not announcing it at all.. |

It seems that Shari'ah is already being applied on him since he's been marrying four women (at least some of them being Muslim). Lots of "Liberal Modern Muslim" women marry non-Muslims these days, as for marrying four women, when did this happen? is he married to four women right now? where does he live? |

From 1979 to 1999, he was married to Elaine Fyffe, with whom he has a daughter. In 1994, he married Amineh Abu-Zayyad as a second wife in a Muslim ceremony (later after his divorce from his first wife, he and Abu-Zayyad also undertook a civil ceremony); Zayyad filed for divorce in 2005. In 2005, Galloway married as his third wife Rima Husseini, a Lebanese woman and former researcher, also in a Muslim ceremony. She gave birth to their first son in May 2007, and a second son in December 2011. In March 2012, Galloway married Putri Gayatri Pertiwi, a consultant with a Dutch research firm.
