Canada - Online Bookstore

http://discussworldissues.com/forums...lies/salam.gif

I am looking for a reliable online bookstore - a seller that would carry titles such as Ascent to Felicity and the Creed of Imam Tahawi.

I would appreciate some suggestions.

Assalaam u Alikum,

I have bookstore based in USA, and carry your requested and similar titles.

My shipping rates to Canada are similar to USA rates, which are very low.

Please visit and spread the word www.meccabooks.com

If the site doesn't seem to work for you, you might want to contact Br. Umer Motala who owns the store, as I know the website can be a bit buggy some time. Since we can't post full email addresses here, it is info (at) alzahraonline

http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ilies/mash.gif your on-line store looks wonderful and has a nice variety of very useful resources. What about customs charges? That is my concern.

There are no customs charges for Books and CD/ DVD to Canada. We get lots of orders from Canada and have no issues, we use FedEx to ship to Canada. So it's really fast service.

Oh, that's great! What about FedEx brokerage fees? Sorry to hound you with questions.

Using an online calculator for a rough estimate of what it would cost to get the Ma'ariful Qur'an (which I can access online for free but work better with printed materials) from the US. At $199.95 + $14.95 Shipping via FedEx to my province the total final cost is $290.29.

If the item is "made in the US" and still shipped via FedEx, then the total price drops a bit to $277.57.

If the item is shipped through the US postal system instead, then the total price is $251.23 (not made in US) and $238.51 (made in US).

That's quite a difference (for me).

http://discussworldissues.com/forums...lies/jazak.gif brother. They are cheaper (shows on sale for $143.70) but still out of the US.

The least expensive one I've found out of the US is currently on sale for $125 and the seller has options for shipment so I can choose postal service rather than courier and save a little on brokerage too.

Brother, it doesn't look like they carry Ma'ariful Qur'an but it might be a glitch. I'll e-mail as you suggested. http://discussworldissues.com/forums...lies/jazak.gif

al-rashad has more books but from various websites, meccabooks is the fastest one with the cheap delivery. The same delivery price of al-rashad and onlineislamicbookstore [another website], it took about 2 weeks.

My last order with MeccaBooks, I received it in 2 days! Masha'Allah.
