now, the things for which we criticized barelvis, i came to know adopted in shafii madhab like mawlid and the above discussed examples. Then why i find videos "Tahir ul Qadri exposed".? you are incorrect here. shafi mawlid and barelvi mawlid are very different. the difference is in aqaid.you dont find deobandi ulema criticizing shafis do you? tahir ul qadri has introduced things in religion which were not endorsed by majority of scholars of Islam (ive seen people prostrating to him) or the first three generations. there is no valid difference of opinion. as for diff of opinion itself, you have to realize that a valid one is when there are strong arguments on both sides and renowned scholars are in both camps. otherwise any opinion could be taken just because someone disagreed with it! for example: sunnis say there no 12 infallible imams. shias say there are. one might say 'it is okay to follow either opinion' no it is not. barelvis have made many things part of their necessary aqidah that are either fabrications or based upon extremely weak narrations. also they have introduced ghuluw in their methodology and their constant takfir does no good to their authenticity. hence you will find many similarities in deobandis and barelvis but the differences also exist. these are deep theological issues. best study them under a scholar. and focus on ibadat. |

The abridged version has many things left out I think. Khair I know it is better than nothing but I am curious to read the entire content. I hope the book translated by Ismail Abdus Salam is a full version and someone uploads it. |
