I want to know how much it would cost to rent or buy an apartment in karachi. Please can anyone help this is very important.

it depends on which type of life standard do u want. what area do u want to live in? how many rooms do u want in it? inshaAllah I can provide u with the info u want.
p.s. if there's a choice, just a personal preferance cos of the unrest in Pakistan which is usually seen in Karachi. Lahore and Islamabad are a better option.

I want an apartment by the binori town madrassa in newtown, the life standard is not a problem i am ready to live in a normal flat. The flat/house ect must be for a couple so i guess even 1 bedroom would be okay

You can have for less than 10k. karachi is much economical as compared to Islamabad.

I think at jamshed road or nearby location, u can have a 2 room portion for 8k.
I spent 25 years in Nazimabad, karachi, (5 minutes ride to binori town).
Now working in islamabad for 2 years.

Asalamu Alaikum,

A decent unfurnished flat on rent would be around 10k - 15k PKR per month w/o utility charges and also will require you to deposit around 80k PKR refundable at time of leaving the flat (it might be less depending on the exact location).

In total i would say 35-45k PKR are required including all expenses rent, utilities, food, transport etc for an average middle class life style in Karachi..

Usually u have to deposit 6 months rent in advance or a fix amount 50k to 1 lac.
For buying an apartment, u first decide how much you can afford, cost started from 30 lacs

wow live eaxtly right there iA i will be going bak to khi in a couple of months....yeah that is the BEST area in karachi to live.....soo much noor blessing and ronaq(crowded ) great enviorment........i live in my granpa flat...
