I came across this thread on Shia chat: ''The early injustices done by Abu Bakr against Lady Fatima Zahra عليه السلام, paved the way for his offspring to do the same against the Prophet's progeny. Sayyid Safdar Hussain, in his valuable book The Early History of Islam p.242, summarized the wrongdoings committed by the Bakrs (the descendants of Abu Bakr) against Fatima (A) and her descendants in several points...''
I'm aware of some of the beliefs, such as the poisoning of Sayyidina Hasan RA. It's mostly talking about Aisha RA and her family members taking part in the Battle of Jamal against Sayyidina Ali RA, but what do you say about this first point? Another fabrication? ''1. Abu Bakr, on his accession to the Caliphate, sent Umar to Fatima's house to compel Ali, by force, to come in and do fealty to him. Umar threatened to burn the house down upon Fatima, and brought Ali under escort to Abu Bakr where he was so humiliated and insulted that he cried bitterly at the tomb of the Prophet complaining against the treatment he had received. Subsequently, Fatima was so much grieved by Abu Bakr that as long as she survived her father, she never spoke a word to Abu Bakr and on her deathbed she forbade his joining her funeral.'' |

![]() Sister, please please for the Sake of Allah, do not visit Shiachat or any shia forums. After reading lie upon lie sometimes we might forget they are lying. Its all lies. They misquote, They mistranslate everything. Abu Bakr (ra) who is mentioned in the Quran ,as the companion of the messenger in the cave. "The second of two when the two were in the cave, and he said unto his companion: Grieve not" (9:40) Do you think He will do something that will displease Allah and his Rasool ![]() |

Wa aleykoum salaam. I know I shouldn't be digging into these matters on shia sites. You're right brother. I was just curious whether this point is completely fabricated. I do feel at unease when I talk to Shias sometimes, or read from Shia sources. JazakAllah khayr. |

Concerning the funeral: The modern Twelver Shia mind cannot understand the issue of women's modesty. This is why you the very religious Shia parties have female MPs making a show of themselves and so forth, in an attempt to show that Twelver Shia principles are compatible with modern-day women's liberation. If this is their way, well then this is their way and religion, and they are free to practice their religion until the Day of Judgment. But they should know that Fatimah (RAA) was so modest that she did not wish for people to even view her burial sheet after she had passed away. So this puts to rest all these stories about her not wanting people to see her after her death. The other issue, of people not knowing where her grave is located is (a) false and (b) even if it were true it makes no difference, since we have no idea where most of the Sahabis are buried, and it is not because they wanted to keep their burial location secret, but rather because it does not matter. The other fairy tales, such as her shouting at Abu Bakr (RAA) and holding him by his shirt, is more appropriate to an immoral lady who works in the sex trade than to the daughter of the Prophet (SAW), who would go out of her way so that no one even knew what figure her cloak she used to cover herself had. The other issues are not even worth poring over, as we already know the level of so-called 'respect' they truly have for the Prophet (SAW) and his daughter (RAA), in spite of their claims to the contrary. |

The Shia are biggest fabricators and liars. Do you know they also claim that Umar (ra) killed Fatima (ra) and her unborn son, Mohsin. These are the biggest fabrications in the history but yet it is an important belief of the shia. All those fairly tales are from the fabricated and weak reports. Moreover, since when shia books (Sayyid Safdar Hussain, in his valuable book The Early History of Islam p.242) have become reliable?. Do you really think that Ali, the lion of Allah, the bravest of the Sahaba, would just sit and cry and do nothing to defend his honour? Indeed, Shia are the real Nawasib and enemies of Ali (ra). Let me quote a beautiful narration: Jafar ibn Muhammad (Sadiq), from his father, Muhammad ibn Ali (baqir), from Abdullah ibn Jafar bin abi Talib that he said: Abubakr became our caliph and he was the best of the Caliphs of Allah, he was the most merciful and most caring towards us" |
