Default Muslim uprising in India - Anjam Choudhary
Assalaam'aaleykum!

I am sure SFers from India have been fed enough with this news through various media about Anjam choudhary's scheduled rally outside Parliament house in New Delhi, which aims to replace the current constitution of India with the Shari'ah law.

While this news has been doing the rounds in India, many Non-Muslims on social media have started mockinng him and also the Shari'ah law.

I know many people on this forum stand in contrast to Anjam Choudhary and his views, but I am more interested to hears views of SFers from India about what they think of this.

Dr. Abu Tamim, Br. Pluto, Uncle Maripat, Uncle Masood, Br. Warea and others, please contribute.

I do not believe in Indian law, so there is no question of seeking any permission from the authorities there. If you don't believe in law of the land, then don't enter there.

Assalamu alaykum

He is a headache for Islam.

He is playing into the hands of anti-muslim lobby of India.

We muslims tell him "SHUT UP"
Waaleykum'assalaam!

That's exactly what I feel sometimes. I think, he is nothing more than a pawn in international politics furthering the agenda of enemies of Islam.

If he is so pro-Shari'ah, then why does he not start with an Islamic nation like Pakistan, which might show him some support? Why choose nations which are not so accommodating to anything other than secular democracy?

If the current constitution is replaced by Shariah Law, who will ensure that it is implemented? Catchy slogans but lacks any substance

I have watched his shenanigans on youtube, his interviews, stuff etc, spoken to people who support him, but I don't know that he is planning to visit India, its yet another un-needed fitnah the Indian muslims can do without. Here's a guy I'd willingly go out on the streets to put pressure on the govt. to ban him from visiting. The whole thing seems a ploy by:
a) the Muslim haters to show us in a poor light.
b) anjam chaudhary to gain publicity, to become some sort of a spokesman for the community.

I agree with you, if he really wants shariah implemented, let him go to pak or bangladesh, or basically Muslim countries.

have you seen some of his vids, the people surrounding him look like sicko's.

Ummah has a collective character and hence individuals striving for leadership is sort of out of place activity.
There is no point in getting worked up because of his visit. He'll come, he'll see and he'll go back without conquering. Most probably Indian law enforcing authorities will pack him back without much ado.

bhaijaan, you really think the Indian news media will let of such a wonderful opportunity to malign us or our teachings? chewing gum chaudhary is an attention grabber, who's said things like the queen should convert to Islam, and other things like that, it seems as though he is being used (willingly or otherwise) to malign Muslims in general, I mean please do watch this video. The Indin newspapers esp. the times group never let go of any oppurtunity to malign deoband (thru fatwas), get the point, brother?

Don't miss 4:26, he is here to create fear.

i aint no supporter of his but its far fetched calling him a munaafiq. despite him applying NO hikmah whatsoever, i csnt see what he is saying which is so bad that he deserves to be called a hypocrite. can somebody point it out?

these people pour fuel on top of fire without thinking and applying hikmah but you cant call somebody a munaafiq for not using hikmah.

That vid is not made by me, thats only the uploaders point of view which I onlypartly share.
The problem is the hikmah, there is already enough animosity against the Muslims all over the world, not just in India, and he will only add even more to it. Lets not be politically correct all the time, he is essentially fundamentally wrong in saying what he wants to say, that and also, is India under Muslim rule? are Muslims in India a majority? are there even remote chances of shariah being applicable in India? India is Darul Harb. Ask him to first meet up with Maulana Arshad Madani Saheb db he'll put some lasting gyan in his empty head.

Why don't you start from your own country?

Geez, do you even understand what people are talking about here? Do you even know the situation of Muslims in India?

Can you please answer the question in the first quote? This is where all the current Khilafat movements like Hizb ut Tahrir, Jamaat e Islaami, Muslim Brotherhood fail to come up with answers.

Assalaam'aaleykum!

His Shaykh is Omar Bakri. Right?

Another thing I want to ask, have they ever been taken to task by any senior Aalim in UK?

If Ulema don't speak against such troublemakers, then chances are that their silence might be taken as a tacit approval to their activities.

I think, Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid, Delhi did criticize his planned rally recently.
