Salaamualaiykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu
I hope everyone is in the best of health and iman inshallah.
I want to know whether there are certain tribes or families which are chosen by Allah. How should one understand such issues in the light of claimed hadith such as: Sayyiduna Abu Hurayra (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) said: “The people of Yemen have come to you. They are tender-hearted and more delicate of soul. The capacity to understand (fiqh) is of the Yemenis and wisdom is that of the Yemenis.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, no: 4129 & Sahih Muslim, no: 84) So that means Yemenis are special people? Can someone explain how this is not to do with nationalism (it's a serious question, not sarcasm)? What about the family of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH? The Syed. Are they special people? Can you explain that for me? Finally, the prophet Muhammad PBUH is recorded to have made duas for the generation of certain tribes. Can someone please explain that to me as well, in terms of being born among special people?
Aside note: The prophet Muhammad PBUH speaks undoubtful truth from Allah SWT and Allah SWT is Just and so if anyone thinks these have some bad implications(if they were indeed from the Prophet Muhammad PBUH) better check himself or herself.
