Default Life made simple

I would like to share few thoughts which will make our life very easy and happy.

Our life becomes miserable, when we start feeling jealous of others. Because jealously is the result of lack of emaan. Yes, when Allah has given something to other people, then why do you feel jealousy about it ? This is one of the important reason for breaking of relationships among muslim families.

In the first place, I would ask, why do we need to bother about what other person is getting ? Just be happy with what Allah has provided to you. When you see someone with higher standard, just do dua for him and also pray that Allah also gives you the same standard. Please give more inputs

Forgive Others
Allah likes people who forgive people. Keep forgiving, and you wont have any tension with others and everyone will like you. You wont have enemies and the number of people who support you will increase.

What if women begin to think that second marriage is as normal as first one

Havent we complicated the things... even first marriage is considered something as a great occasion and thousands of rupees are spent on marriage.. where as the marriage can be done just in 10,000 rupess or even less..

I think most of people think that marriage means you need to spend some thousands on marriage and all stuff,.. believe me in my marriage i was as normal as i used to be on eid (with just some new clothes) and there was no other israaf.

I think that even in the most unsimple (I know there is no such word) situations one can live a very simple life if his heart is simple.

Say your prayers, stay in your home, and don't go out except to fulfill some need, i.e. go out for necessary shopping, for work, for school, to visit friends and family, to the masjid, for physical activity, and occasionally for a family outing to a museum or zoo or something. Don't go out just to "kill time", wandering around shopping malls and movie theaters and other haram venues, while needlessly interacting with the people.

This one from Maya Angelou, not islamic quote but has touched me deeply since I've read it ...

"A woman’s heart should be so hidden in God that a man should have to seek Him first to find her" - Maya Angelou

Cut all backbiting from your life. Every time you say or think something about someone, even if it's a simple sentence like "man that brother had some weird shoes on" (just the first example which pops into my head), where all you're doing from your perspective is pointing out something "little" and your intention is not to backbite at all... really think to yourself if you will be backbiting by making this statement, before you say it. Would you say this same statement to this person's face? If it constitutes backbiting, then do not say it, no matter how badly you want to say it. If you are sitting in a situation where backbiting is being done, leave if possible, cover your ears if possible (literally), or if none of those are possible then try your best to think about something else, do Dhikr of Allah , and try not paying attention to what is being said at all.

One is not a believer until one want for his sisters and brothers what he wants for himself...if only the Muslims would understand this.

Adopting Tafweez

A quote from the book Tafweez:

Hazrat Shah Muhammad Ahmad Saheb (Rahmatullah ‘alaih) mentions in his poetry :

“In whichever condition He keeps me,
it is the best condition for me.
Through whichever route He takes me
it is the easiest route for me.”

Right bro.
I remember a small poster stuck on the wall when I attend Haji Shakil's majlis. It says in Urdu, "Jo mawjood nahin, uska zikr nahin".
Translation: "No discussing someone who is absent".
Probably the best way to avoid gheebah.

Islam made our life so simple because it provides the natural way of life. whatever is natural for human beings should be easy for them in every way. The view that Islam is easy to understand for every individual who want to come towards it.

Does talking bad behind a non-Muslim also considered as backbiting?
