Default Hazrat Faqeer Muhammad Peshawari rh
Hazrat Faqir Muhammad RA was sahebe takween,A very unusual person he was. He would cry like a little child in front of Allah swt, infact he was one so full of tears, his eyes were usually red because of it.his kashaf was like a thunder bolt. But he was very kind and loving. Most of the time he would keep silent. His Tawajjo was in his silence. He did not give sermons even in his khanaqah.Once a scholar asked him to speak for a few minutes,he started with surae fateha, but could not speak more than Alhamdo lillahe rabbel alameen.....and then started crying. He used to do Bara tasbeeh,Isme zat 24,000 and La ilaha illallah 5000 times, and only Allah knows what more...!!!
The prominent amongst his khulufa were Halimi sb RA,Moulana Ashraf sulemani RA,Moulana Hassan Jan Shaheed RA,Pir Musarrat shah sb RA. ,a total of about 20 khulufa.

The following story illustrates his high rank....

http://www.ashrafiya.com/2008/04/28/beard-no-big-deal/

Hadhrat Mawlana Faqir Mohammad was one of the senior khulafa of Hakim al-Ummah (may Allah have mercy on them). He was blessed with extreme piety, meticulous adherance to Sunna and lucid unveiling (khashaf). In the later part of his life he used to stay in Medinah e munawwara for prolonged periods of time and occasionally visited Pakistan.

On one of such visits to Pakistan a top ranking clean shaved official greeted and reminded him that they had met in front of the blessed rau’dha (muwajjah sharif:shown in the picture above) in Medinah e munawwara.

Hadhrat replied that he remembered the incident quite vividly because the Blessed Prophet (may Allah’s blessing and peace be on him) after replying to his salutations (salat o salam) had immediately turned away his noble face in displeasure from this clean-shaved official.

Allah, Most High, save us from this. Amin!

wasnt this the buzrugh who is responsible for the change of power from indra gandi? he was in madinah tayyibah and one of the buzrughs said indra gandi is planning to attack pakistan so he had ordered her to be killed. i think 2 days later those sikh guys turned her into ground beef.

Shaykh Fusoos saheb it is possible as he was a takweeni however I have heard about an incident of Shaykh zakariya rh in this regard too. In those days Indira Ghandi was implementing some policy of forced steralization for birth control. She came to Saharanpur (or one of her representatives) and met Shaykh Zakariaya rh or he was informed of this (I can't remember the exact details). Shaykh Zakariya rh said tell these people if they continue like this they will not have their seat (of power). This is exactly what happened. Within sometime she was gone!!! Hazrat Faqeer Muhammad peshawari rh was close to your dada shaykh dr tanvir ahmed khan db and one of your pir bhais once told me that Dr Tanvir Ahmed khan db mentions him often in his bayans (p.s. Could you send me some bayans of Dr Tanvir Ahmed khan db) so you will have definitely heard a lot about him.

man i told you about this shaykh business. only that person who is ahl of it you call shaykh.

i dont doubt what you wrote at all. I heard the incident i mentioned above about indra gandi directly from Ml Tanvir sahib db. I forget if he said it in a bayaan or when we were chilling with him. i got a cd packed of his bayaans. bro the last time he visited chicago you should have seen it he ROCKED this city and i mean he ROCKED it. he was giving intense bayaans everywhere. he openly discusses takwin you know? he openly discusses darbar related stuff too.

at the time my shaikh was giving khutbah at the main masjid here jamia masjid. that day hazrat db got up on the mic and said "my shaikh is here today, so i thought rather than listening to me you should listen to him its not often such personality visits our city though i have not sought their permission but i dont think the masjid management should have any problem with this." then he said "i request hazratwala to come forward and bless us with his discourse"

moulana tanvir sahib db was all the way in the back. he comes walking with a khadim next to him, this is the biggest masjid in the area, completely packed yet totally silent. everyone was dead silent. he got on the mic and gave what seemed to be a very mukhtasar bayaan, very very simple, but there was something in that talk i will never forget, there was some kaifiyat that took the audiance.

one thing he mentioned particularly he said i encourage the muslims of america to marry their children when their children are due for marriage, dont delay in marrying your children. as they get older so do their desires.

after jumma my shaikh holds a qa session and ppl stick around to ask. usually about a hundred ppl stick around, this time nearly the entire majmua stayed. hazrath did not do qa but he let moulana tanvir go on with his discourse. hazrath was to my left, moulana tanvir to my right. i was sitting in the middle. this was an incredible time becuz what issued forth from moulana tanvir next was intense.

he narrated an incident he had with a naqshbandi shaikh hafiz something i forget the name now, he accompanied moulana tanvir sahib db to some village where moulana was staying at. he told the villagers "if you dont take care of moulana i am going to take him back." then moulana tanvir told the crowd, "this mufti sahab of yours, he is my beloved, if you dont take care of him i am going to take him back."

i remember the first time i met him. he was sitting like a lion against the wall. my shaikh directly in front. me sitting on side of my shaikh. my shaikh says to him "this is the boy who came to me and asked do you know how to mend the heart? so i said to him i can give you just a general idea" and they both laughed at this. the most i got to talk to him is just salaam i couldnt get myself to say anything, he is really high up there. his eyes are extremely beautiful. they change color according to the light sometimes grey sometimes green sometimes black. he is tall, skinny, but when he moves it feels like the heavens and earth are moving. he said when news came of hazrat thanvis illness he ran to thana bhavan and he could still do it today at his age lool i dont doubt him.

when he is nuzul he is very funny, he says really good jokes. some lady called my shaikh regarding some amaliyaat issue so my shaikh said "my SHAIKH is here so call tonight aafter maghrib and speak to him. the lady called back after maghrib and spoke to moulana tanvir and said "hazrat mufti sahab told me that his STUDENT is here and i should call after maghrib to speak to him regarding my problem" we had a good laugh at that.

he holds hazrat mufti sahib db in very high air and speaks highly of him. after the demise of hazrat masihullah khan sahib ra, moulana masihullah khan sahib ra came in his dream and said "go and give the khilafath to nawal" and after this moulana tanvir gave my shaikh the khilafat.

moulana tanvir writes "what type of mureed do i like best? the mureed who tells me his complete condition good or bad, openly tells me everything, i like this mureed the best."

the two times i met him i was in no shape to talk to him, i still am not. but now i feel i can at least introduce myself if i get the chance to meet him again. he was denied visa to america, when i heard this i laughed because if moulana tanvir just asks for it all of america will get up to go to him he doesnt need visa to come here. he is a darbari buzrugh you know?

i just got this idea that insha'Allah i will get his phone number and give him a call to say salaam and ask for duas.

Yes alhamdulillah I've listened to him many times and he is not your average sufi/scholar. I remember the scholar who introduced him made some mistake with his name....and he corrected him before starting the bayan. He sometimes starts along the lines of 'my grandfather was a pious person'. I remember it was the first time I ever heard that someone could have direct owaisi nisbat to Rasulullah sallhuwaslaam when he talked about his grandfather. He also made some prediction about imam mehdi AS and said the time is very far and gave some rough timescale and he cried and said then you will remember this faqeer. I have NEVER seen anyone talk about such deep matters in public. I mean even in private hardly any mashaikh do and most of the stuff is reserved for books etc...He was refused visa for America...I can guess why....he mentions many things openly....Mashallah. Mentioned him rebuking someone called MA for having bodyguards and how some of the guys would come to him to get dreams interpreted. Anyway man one of my favourite buzrugs....

did u notice his talks are mostly about incidents from his life? lol ive never heard him go into a masala or give tafsir openly or anything like that, i am thinking this is due to his takwini influence. but that is similar to hazrat jalalabadis discourses also so he prob just took that aspect from his shaikh.

ya he says time of mehdi as, according to him, is not for a good thousand years. he said this many times. he cries during his talks a lot. he cried here in the khutbah too he was mentioning about qalb e saleem and he mentioned the words of ibrahim as and started to cry. regarding the mehdi he says how can the mehdi come when there are darul ulooms opening in america? the time of the mehdi appearance is a very severe time on the ummat, very bad time. he says let the mehdi come later why bring hardship on ummat now?

my friend was telling me he and moulana yusuf ludhianvi ra both ended up at a nikkah. i am pretty sure it was moulana yusuf and not moulana rashid. the guys father asked moulana yusuf ra to do the nikkah. moulana yusuf ra asked does the guy have a beard otherwise i wont do the nikkah. then moulana tanvir talked to him and said moulana, in the haramain there are many abdaals who dont keep beards but they are abdaal you seek their duas they give duas for ummat etc. so then moulana ludhianvi ra did the guys nikkah. Allahu alim if the guy was an abdaal and moulana tanvir was hinting to it.

"Hazrat Maulana Faqir Muhammad R.A and his Khanqah"

Khankha never seems a special place not since Hazrat wala passed away( may ALLAH be pleased with him). His successor was Hazrat syed Halimi sb R.A(May ALLAH be pleased with him) a great Owaisi wali. the number of members in the majalis have extremely dropped down since Hazrat wala passed away. there are two factors towards the number of decline, one people who knew hazrat and were attached assumed with passing of hazrat khankha is also empty (not likely) the other thing was alot of people came to know that Hazrat Faqir Muhammad R.A was mustawajib butdawaat, so a major number of people only after worldly benefits soon vanished.

I quote a waqia of this great wali Hazrat Faqeer Muhamad.
I am not able to quote my friends name as he does not want to be mentioned here so instead I will quote him ''Mr X''

As my friend Mr X was a murid of Hazrat Halimi R.A, he would regularly attend the majlis on friday morning later majlis was shifted to Sunday for people's convenience. Mr X states that from young age he was introduce to this way of life (tariqat) his coming to the majalis,he would some time bring a question that had bothered him for the week and would get the answer to the exact question in that majlis in the bayan of Hazrat Halimi R.A, to his astonishment this way of learning and question answer continued through out the bayans of Hazrat Halimi sahib R.A life.

Just as Dr Tanvir db Hazrat Halimi R.A quoted Moulana Faqir Muhammad R.A alot in his bayans, Mr X having heard so much stuff about moulana R.A from Hazrat Halimi R.A once questioned him self why is it, that I have never met a stranger or witnessed a kiramat of Hazrat Moulana Faqir Muhammad R.A my self??

That day Mr X left khankha after bayan with his ''Uncle bd'' his uncle decoursed from the routine and took the other route? not far away just after 10 min drive car broke down, uncle & Mr X asked for help and the villagers were so happy to offer help arranged a technician. as these were hot days the locals knocked the close by Hujra and arrange fresh lemonade and shadow of course the fans too, the owner of the hujra a "Arbab" questioned as what was the purpose of the guest in the village, the uncle of Mr X introduced them and told that the came for the bayan in the khankha, to his astonishment of arbab he asked is it still running (keeping in mind the mentality of the above mentioned brothers who vanished) after a long chat Arbab sahib said that I only visited the khankha once that too because a friend (A High Ranked Govt Officer) of his was in presence of the Moulana R.A.

After acquaintances moulana R.A offered food plane rice, Arbab sahib turned down the offer repeatedly, Moulana R.A asked his son to bring something special as Arbab sahib is not familiar to ordinary food, then Moulana R.A ordered his son Abdur Rehman to enter the room in Khankha and bring out the tray, he did as father ordered hazrat's son came out of that room and put down the tray removed the cloth covering the food it was rice, chicken, sweet and other extra's, arbab sahib then joined Moulana and they both eat that Food.

Arbab Sahib said that it was astonishing that I remained there for quite a while and we sat just in-front of the room no one entered or left the room nor was the room connected to the house, yet such food that was as warm as it was just put to the dishes out of the cooking pots was impossible came out, that was sure a karamat of hazrat.

My friend Mr X said that his question about the hazrat's karamat was answered in such a way that he was amazed the decourse of route and breaking down of the car then being guest to the arbab a living example was all the barakat and through the blessings of the Moulana R.A

To my knowledge he has not authored any books, he rarely gave talks. He had seated Hazrat Moulana Tanvir Ahmed Khan sahib (db) at the khanqah when it first opened and he was giving dars there for a long time. In the begining I think it was just out doors underneath a tree.

Brother I am not aware of any of his writings, they are not mentioned in the Khankha and I doubt there are any written by Great Sheikh R.A,
I might get a chance to ask about his books from his son's in near future, if there are any written, I will put them on this thread.
I was bayyat to Halimi Sahib.

You attend the khanqah?
I was blessed due to my friend ''X'' who introduced me to Khankha but those were they last years of Hazrat Fariq Muhammad R.A life, Hazrat Halimi Sahib R.A took over Khankha's dars on fridays (Later changed to Sunday's) in later years I mostly attended Khankha in Hazrat Halimi sahib's blessed presence.

You are correct all these details are mentioned in Dr. Tanvir Ahmed Khan sahib's book.

I might get a chance to ask about his books from his son's in near future, if there are any written, I will put them on this thread.
I was bayyat to Halimi Sahib.
Who are you bayat to after Halimi sb ra ?

He is widely known as a big takweeni so I doubt he was a dars/book type of person.

The entire account starts here:

"And when Musa said to his boy-servant 'I will not give-up travelling until I reach the junction of the two seas or until I spend years and years in travelling." (al-Kahf 18:60)
