islami bros n sisters with problems like diseases..etc.. go to the site give details like name, problem, email..etc n the bros at dawat e islami asks dua in favor of 'em. they also do 'wazeefa' like reciting surah "Al Fatiha" or "ya Salaamoo" .. etc.. bros might differ in regard to the validity of this practice, keeping in mind the different belief systems. again views may differ in regard to ur statement "tried to copy" but lets just leave it at that coz we all know discussions on subjects like those only goes into chaos. heh ![]() but all i can say from experience with DI is that it is teaching ppl the holy Quran and Sunnah, but again this view would differ from person to person according to their own belief systems, yes? factors like 'sect' greatly influences these decisions. anyway have a good time, n hope there'll be no destructive posts here, as i honestly have no intention of causing trouble. thanks ![]() |

well umm bro, kaat in the literal sense means "cutting" or something close to it.. i am not well versed with either urdu nor hindi soo i cannot say exactly, but the closest i can say would be "cutting of a problem" ![]() I do know Urdu and yes, "kaat" is a verb meaning "to cut", but I thought it was some new Dawat-e-Islami terminology and apparently, it is, because I have never heard it being used in this context. The problems with Dawat-e-Islami are already mentioned on this forum and they are not something as simple as you're making them out to be. I also have no intention of creating an argument but if you wish to read up on the issues about Dawat-e-Islami, you should read previous threads on this issue. May Allah ![]() |

![]() islamibhai, is there a reason you haven't said salaam or replied to anyone's salaam after your first post? And I don't know who added the "barelvi fitna" tag but that was uncalled for since this thread isn't promoting Dawat-e-Islami. Also, Barelvism is not equivalent to Sufism in India. There are many Sufis in India who are not Barelvis. The "evil Deobandis" are also Sufis. Only the Wahhabi Ahle Hadees aren't Sufi. |

the only thing i can say is that their are ppl who don't know Imam Ahmed Raza (rehmatAllah alaih) n have the same beliefs. i kno coz i didn't know him n was never in India/pakistan before now, n i have the same beliefs. anyway the thing abt replying to salaam, its a fatwa or something like it given by DI mufti's not to reply to salaam in english written form, u could say 'AsslaamuAlaikum' but not the reply.. soo mostly i just say it from my mouth instead of writing.. i think i have the paper which sez this, im uploading the paper n giving a link here, but there is no1 here with me who can read it at the moment, so the paper im uploading might be different.. tell me if it is the wrong paper, n i'll find the real 1 n post.. www.kgnfosys.com/Salam likhnay ka tareeqa.jpg |
