I read Fajr in the dark, because ALL I have to do is wudu which takes 2secs, wack my hijab on and 2 farz then roll back in bed, so I dnt bother switching the light on. try to read salah slowly and concentration Insha'Allah it will create more connection with Allah Ta'la. |

HAHAH Brooo not literally 2secs! But I tend to do fajr wudu and namaz SUPERR DUPERR QUICK bcz I dnt want to feel awake, if U get me? I wash my face with warm water because cold water will wake me up. And thats also the reason why I dont switch the light on either! I also read short namaz 1) Because I don't want it to last long so that I feel awake later and 2) Because I started to ONLY recently pray JUST farz, coz my friend said its okay, sunnah isnt compulsary! What time you get up for Fajr? The night is long in winter you can read fajr at 7:30am thats still upto 30-40 mins before sunrise I am sure that is more then enough sleep only in summar it is difficult when fajr is at 4 am and esha at 11pm. try to read the Sunnah of fajr our Prophet ![]() Make dua to Allah that he makes it easy for you and guide you to the straight path. |

Also, sister, you should pray the 2 sunnah before Fajr, it is emphasized. 1100. `Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) never omitted four Rak`ah prayer before the Zuhr prayer and two Rak`ah prayers before dawn (Fajr) prayer. [Al-Bukhari]. 1102. `Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, "The two Rak`ah before the dawn (Fajr) prayer are better than this world and all it contains.'' [Muslim] Allaah will build a house in Heaven for whoever is diligent in observing 12 Sunnah Rak'aat (as follows): 4 Rak'aat before and 2 after the Dhuhr (Midday) Prayer, 2 after the Maghrib (Sunset Prayer), 2 after the ‘Ishaa’ (Evening) Prayer and 2 before the Fajr (Dawn) Prayer." Hadith sahih narrated by at-Tirmidhi No. 379 and by others. Hadith No. 6183 in Sahih al-Jaami The 2 sunnah should be very brief. Aishah (RA) narrates: "The Prophet (Sallaho Alaihe Wassallam) would pray the two rak'at before the dawn prayer in my house so quickly that I wondered if he had recited the Fatihah in them or not." [Ahmed] It is sunnah to make the 2 Fard rakahs long, as the prophet (peace be upon him) used to recite very long surahs in the Fajr salah. |

Brooo... read the link...plz correct me if im worng! ... so its okay to pray in the dark so long as it doesnt disturb you and your prayer? then she was like u cannot wear other ppls clothes coz it has their soul attatched to it Their souls attached to it? Nah, im pretty sure your soul is deep inside you, not in the clothes you wear. As for wearing others clothes when praying, as long as the clothes were not stolen then your salah is perfectly fine. If you pray salah in clothes that you stole from someone or took without permission, your salah will be void because you are praying in haram clothes. But in your case I suppose its okay since you are only borrowing. Allah knows best. |

Salaam brooo... you knw this part...."Allahuma Antas Salaam Wa Minkas Salaaam Tabarakta Ya Dhal Jalali Wal Ikraam" Do I read it just like that just the once after every namaz? JZK There are dozens and dozens of adhkar you can recite after salah, these are just a few. The adhkar are in no way obligatory to recite, but are highly recommended in order to get closer to Allah (swt) |

![]() @ Sister Afghanii: Laziness in Salah and other Amaal is highly dangerous. Because it takes a man great far away from Allaah ![]() Yes, in south Asian countries we get a very short night in summer. But we must rearrange the time of our other activities according to the time of Salah. A man can be healthy if he sleeps for 6 hours. So you should go to bed 6 hours earlier than Fajr Salah. Your sleeping time schedule is problematic. I highly suggest you to avoid this pattern. Sleep earlier at night. Wake before Salah. Don't sleep immediately after performing Fajr because Rasulullaah ![]() In fact I would sleep for 10 hours everyday when I wasn't a regular Salah performer. But when Allaah ![]() |
