Masha'Allah, there's over 300 masjids in and around London.

This looks like an old photo of Whitechapel Masjid, East London.

The Synagogue in the photo still looks the same!

Alhamdulillah Br Abu Aliyah has recoginised the pic.
It is an old picture of the East London Mosque probably take in the 70's.
Once a uncle told me that here (refering to Haji Taslim Funerals) was were the Masjid was before ad it was hard for me to believe!
Now the Mosque is undergoing another extention. Its nice to see how this Masjid was before and what it has become now, one of the most famous Mosques probably in Europe. And its all due to our elders who laid the foundations and had the concern.
Allah Taala forgive our parents, elders and grant them Jannah without Hisaab, Ameen..
p.s. how does one directly put the pic on the page??

sadly this mosque is now under the control of jamat-e-islami Bangladesh, they do not allow tabligh jamat to stay there, make any announcements for jaula, taleem or anything else plus the british bangladeshis attending that mosque are not in the effort of tabligh, the only guys who are making some effort are overseas bangladeshi students

That mean the masjid is dominated by "digital Buzurgs" wearing shirt and pants, clean shaved shiny face or 1-1.5 long bearded. They are striving to establish Islamic states (rejecting Sunnah!).

May Allah save us and improve the situation.
