Some of those are nice. Those islands are a disaster though...they are starting to disintegrate, and the entire marine ecosystem over there was destroyed because of their construction. But somehow these things are all less impressive because of all the modern tech available these days to build them. They still don't hold a candle to the great pyramids, the taj mahal, or the ruins on macchu picchu. |

Doc pse dont have an inferiority complex. If the muslim ummah can be one and united no power on earth can harm us except Allah. Tech and scientific advancement the yardstick of the west is a total failure. Greed, etc etc. Islam teaches a fine line between the 2. The Sahaba RA for example achieved tech advancement of a different kind. One that is sustainable and stood the test of time. The west in fact have messed it up. Take for example yourself, In your profession if you dont take kickbacks you say you cannot survive. Now is that progress you want???? Breath in........ sllooooowwww dowwwnnn!! |

Calling the Palm islands a wonder for the Muslim world seems so distaseftul considering the Fahisha that goes on there and the fact that 75% of its inhabitants are non-Muslims.
And thanfully all the extravagant projects have been suspended, there was a project to have a rotating building. Another to build a building in the shape of a man wearing an Arab dress...! |

Why is'nt The Kaabah Shareef & The Green Dome (i'm not a bid'atti) included in the seven wonders of the muslim world...? its supposed to be the first on the list.

i admire very much beautifull and sofisticated architecture, it is mysterious for me how all the beutifaull and specially high buildings are made and last.
