![]() Officially he is the Vice Captain of both ODIs and T20 teams and AB De Villiers is the captain but since De Villiers is injured Hashim Amla will lead the side, In Sha Allah ![]() Also, for those who don't know, he doesn't wear the team shirt since it is sponsored by a Beer/Alcoholic drinks company. Really inspiring, masha Allah. May Allah bestow him with more success. |

Assalamu alaykum And doesnt cricket ever have an off-season??? It seems never to have an off season. Cricket should be used as torture device - "either you tell us where the weapons are hidden or watch a cricket game!" I am just joking with you yaaro its all love. I absolutely love cricket. I played once and I had no protective gear and they told the bowler to "take it easy on the moulana" but the guy was still throwing really hard pitches. He hit me on inner leg just right above calf and ya I had to sit out. |

Cricket?? I would rather watch grass grow. Anyways, you dont need to be in shape to play cricket, just look at the players all out of shape uncles in cricket uniform. My favourite batsman is Hashim Amla. In my cricket uniform i look similar to him , No grass on top floor and moustaches only on sides. I have seen Hashim Amla bat in tests for too long. When he came to UAE , for Pakistan-RSA test series he batted for too long. When does his pray his salats esp. Zuhr and Asr.? I'm not saying that he doesn't pray. I'm 100% sure he prays them all. But i want to know his tarteeb so that it becomes easy all muslims players who play cricket |

It could be during the breaks. But when does he pray jumu'a when a test match or a one-day match falls on a friday. |

If you watch closely , during the breaks drinks come on the field. Players dont leave the field. If you are talking about session breaks, its possible but sometimes it happens that session starts during a prayer time and ends when the time for the prayer is over/or the next prayer has come |

Well cricket was (and is, too some extent) my greatest ever passion. Then ofcourse i went to the madressah, and Ilm and Deen took over as my main passions. However, having played cricket intensively for the last 18 years or so, still the love of the game has not left me. I almost played first class professional cricket and have played with most of the international superstars.
Even i am called "Mr. Amla" here. However i do not look like him, except for the beard. |
