Default When did this qadiani mosque pop up in batley???
i was going through a list of mosques in batley on the internet and i noticed this small qadiani mosque (more like a temple). is this new or its always been there.

may be local guys from dewsbury/batley area may have some first hand knowledge about this qadiani temple.

the mosque is on 23 Enfield Drive, Carlinghow, Batley, West Yorkshire, WF17 8DY, capacity for 50 people

They purchased a plot of land a couple of months ago. In response Abdur Rehman Bawa Sahib came to Batley along with a Mufti Asad from Burnley and a talk was given in Batley regarding the fitnah of the Qadianis.

first time i have heard of it. it says it is a private home used for meetings in the link you gave. nothing much to be worried about. also its far away from the muslim areas.

BUT.........

they are building another temple on bradford road. the place is being built on the route taken by most of the students who study at batley boys high school. i also heard they will be selling sheesha there but not sure if its true. if it is then its obvious what they are trying to do.

what are the rest of the numerous ulama, committees, masajids, madrasahs and community centres doing?

i think we need to go all out and make sure non of the youth fall for this trap. many will.

masjids, madrasas, community centres, shops, takeaways, homes etc need to be plastered with posters and flyers warning the muslims about this.

if they are selling sheesha then the teenagers are definately going to fall for it. is temple currently being built or are they going to built it on bradford road?

they are currently renovating the building.

batley and dewsbury ulamas should hold annual khatme nubuwwat conferences now. every mosque should have a notice on the notice board warning people not to go to that temple. bradford road is a commercial area so people who work there could fall for this ploy

Hmm... that might just give it alot of free publicity. Bawa sahab has lots of anti-Qadiani literature to distribute though.

I definitely agree, they might get free publicity but I feel its better every Muslim in Batley knows who the Qadianis are than not. I myself for example didn't know that Qadianis were outside Islam till I read (rather long) links on my Masjid website.

once it is built they will have as much free publicity as they can handle. hundreds of muslim kids will be walking past that place each day and through them news will spread throughout the area like wildfire. unsuspecting kids and unscrupulous kids will be posting it on their facebook, sending texts and emails etc.

they are targetting the kids hence the location and sheesha.

it would be good if a group of volunteers were to take turns to stand outside the place and hand out flyers and talk to the kids each day when the kids go home from school. if we dont do this then guranteed many of the kids WILL go inside and many will be easily brainwashed if there is a lack of information and activity from our side.

typical UK Deo response to everything:-

Drugs issue - Ask a Hazrat to do a bayaan on drugs
Gangs issue - Ask a Hazrat to do a bayaan on gangs
Fornication issue - Ask a Hazrat to do a bayaan on fornication
Salafi's issue - Ask a Hazrat to do a bayaan against salafis
Qadiyanis issue - Ask a Hazrat to do a bayaan against Qadyani's
Marriage breakdown issue - Ask a Hazrat to do a bayaan on marriage
X problem - Ask a Hazrat to do a bayaan against/on X

= all problems solved.

..theres hardly ever a long term well thought through plan ;-(

What would you suggest? Weekly Khatme-Nabuwwat conferences?

The Qaadiyanis held a "Milaad" conference a few years ago in my area in Toronto on 12th Rabi'ul Awwal. they haven't repeated this farce due to low turnout.

instead of standing outside their temple, i think it would be good idea if the mosques in dewsbury/batley/heckmondwike hand out flyers and leaflets after jumah salat warning about that temple and fitanh of qadianism. youngsters nowadays havent even heard of qadianis and dont know anything about them. unfortunately the youngsters will be advertising their sheeshas like no mans business on their facebook walls

what about the youth who dont go to the masjids? most of the local youth in batley/dewsbury area who go to the masjids will mostly know about the qadiyanis. im not saying nothing should be done in and outside the masjids. both should be done.

and if they are giving out free or discounted sheehsa then its going to be too tempting for many of the youth......many will definitely go there. once they are in the qadiyanis will slowly start their dawah and in the absence of the counter-argument, make the youth doubt the advices of the ulama and much damage will be done.

It is best for the young locally born Ulama to issue and address
rulings for their localities. Constantly inviting foreign Ulama can lead masses to confusion/ discord especially in region/ situation specific matters' - Mufti Yusuf Sacha of UK.

....I think a lot of asian (sub-continent) teenagers are aware of the qadiani laanat more than the arab muslims...isnt it so??....the ulema have done a great job here....so UK should be pretty much the same with so many asians living there?
