About The Muslim community in India :
The Muslim community in India is passing through great churning and transition. Their profile, specially in the areas of their security and their status in sectors of economy and education is low. They constitute 12% of the total Indian population. Their demographic spread covers almost every state and union territory. In certain areas they constitute majority like in Lancadive Minicoy (94.31%), in Jammu & Kashmir (67.13%). Three states in North India viz. Uttar Pradesh (23.73%), West Bangal (15.21%) and Bihar (12.58%) accommodate 52.13% of the Muslim population. Four southern states Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu account for 19.6% of the total Muslim population. However, their share in spheres of economy and education is far below than normal. There is dearth of official data, but in the light of some surveys and commission reports, it is established that Muslims are one of the most backward and marginalised communities of India as they do not figure more than 3-4 percent in any of the economic sectors. According to Gopal Singh Commission report of 1980 the Muslim representation is far below than the required like 3.27% in IAS, 2.7% in IPS, 3.37% in IFS, 1.56% in Central subordinate services. There are many other surveys, which reflect the same proportions |

more to do with the mushrikeen who try their best to discriminate against us in everyway possible. The situation in southern india is better than the north as southern indians are generally more tolerent. We have had a huge influx of these Indians here in Africa and My Allah what a bunch of hooligans. If these are the same muslims suffering in India then I have less people to blame. No regard for law and for the locals. Gutter language and dressing and attitude like the kuffar even worse. They do not listen to anyone and have a serious dont care attitude. The locals are really frustrated with them. Casinos are full of them and corruption is on the increase. I am made to believe their Indian relatives in India who "wait" for money from them sit idle ly sitting and sleeping days on end with no goals in life. "Send us the money,, we dont care what it is ... Zakat, Lillah, sadaqah... bring it on..."!!! |

![]() i have no idea about the other parts of india but the muslims in gujarat just wait for hand outs from relatives living abroad and have no desire to better themselves or work, and the only aim the youngsters have is to marry someone from abroad so they can get a visa and get out of the village. they are a nasty bunch and i have no sympathy for them at all. |

it is from our end of gujrat. go to any village there and you will see young people loafing about and wasting time. ![]() I would say to a certain Degree even Young Muslim guys in Bangladesh especially in the Sylhet district (by the town area) are of similar nature, they dress as if they are "londoners" and hang about to see if they find potential spouses from abroad. I remmeber the days wheni was young and i went BD where it was easy to spot a londer because of their dress - now Subhan-Allah it's hard to tell who is the londoner and who is the freshy. As for the money thing - then it is the same situation in BD many families in BD await some money from their Relatvies from abroad (whetherit is from Saudi / UK/ America etc) - they act like they are knigs - i mean why not just give them money to start up something - like a good business or even make some of them study so they can become responsible people and earn a good living. This is what we have done - my family never sent money (other than giving Zakat money / Fitr Money) for families to generally spend upon - rather our close relatives we have given money to start up businesses - even some for studying. Gujarat or not, the situation in BD is defo like this. When you spoon feed them that is the mistake. Really Bad. |
