I am in a quandary though. Am due to appear on FM radio for an interview on Diabetes and don't know whether it is allowed or not. If I get some advice, then I could decide whether to accept or refuse.

It should be perfectly alright-but aren't you in touch of a Mufti on the regular basis? Because of your interests and activities you should have a Mufti at hand-it is a great blessing. Also do you have a Shaikh? The reason is that even Muftis have limits. I am fond of a Mufti in Bhindi Bazaar. How far is that from you? Sorry my Mumbai geography is zaeef.
