Alhamdulillah Allah tala give this haqir tofiq to contact with mostly big uleema of india,but i cant get more and more benifit from them,now i m thinking to take interview of them about their life and experience etc,i.a i will in mumbai on sunday to meet haji shakil sb d.b, i m thinking to start this interview series from him.
so plz help me about this,which questions i will ask them etc.

what were your early years of life like? were you religious etc?

how did you become religiously conscious, whom did the almighty chose to do dawah to you?

what advice can you give to the youth of today based on your life?

You could ask them who the major influences on their life were, i.e. the people who had the biggest effect on making them religious, or who influenced them to go into a certain field, etc etc

Advice for the laymen.
Advice for the youth.
Advice for the women.
How should our young generation be motivated towards deen?

In experience in modern science and technology is a great disadvantage to Ummah.
What should be done? Who should do it? Who is doing it? Our youth (not the madarsa graduates but those who are in modern education ) feel frustrated at this disadvantage. Sermons and malfoozaat are very excellently collected at Attabligh so, imho, the whole focus should be upon above point. Also because of the so called women's lib our sisters as well as the Ummah in general face very serious and tough problems. Those of us who are in modern education and more so those who are in west have very peculiar problems-they should not be left to fend for themselves. What should be done about their problems? How? Who should do that? Collective problems of Ummah get no reference in the close Shaikh-Mureed interaction. What should be done about that? There are other similar problems but for a sample this should suffice. (I dearly wish that you get to read this before meeting Haji Sb(DB).)
