 As far as I know he is. He also once said in one of his talks that he was a student of Albani. Having mentioned this however, the talks of his that I have heard are very good. |

SAlam o alikum
Salem al amry was a student of a senior student of sheikh albani he resides in UAE and a Salafi.But i have heard nothing wrong from him, although i heard him a little  . but when he talks of Fiqha just close your ears as he is a Salafi and does not follow any madhhab.Since he was a student of ALBANI. i personally heard Albani he when he speaks abt TAUHEED WAOOO  but he hates madhahab i do not know wts the prob with these salafies But as far as Al amry is concerned Aqeedah and the usool of aqeedha

Brother in your signature you have advertised MAsjid Abu baker the Dew BAndies. I am really interested in Dew BAndies.I want to learn abt religion a friend gave me this web site and said this is a good "Sunni" forum but i have disscovered it as a pure SUFI forum.I know a few Dew bandey Scholrs from KSA PK and USA thier beleive system is totaly other than that of this forum's beleives. I live in Turkey and people here are SUNIIES like of this forum who are on the beleives of SHIAAS but on the Fiqha of Imam Abu haneefa So kindly tell me that if abu baker mosque is on the belief of TABLEEGHI DEWBandEY or what .Your reply is awaited. Salafi's for the most part do not hate mathabs. They hate the stubborn blind following and partisan attitude. That sadly those attached with the mathabs bring, time to time.
In fact, Shaykh Saleem Al Amry personal told me to study fiqh through the mathabs. So, let us be balanced in our approach. |

SAlam o alikum 1. For information on the Deobandi Ulema, refer to: http://www.darululoom-deoband.com/english/index.htm 2. This forum has a mix of ideologies but most of the members here are Deobandi. You say that the Deobandi Ulema in KSA, PK and USA have different beliefs to those on this forum, could you please elaborate? Which Ulema have you spoken to and how do their beliefs differ from the Deobandis on this forum? 3. The rightly guided Sufis are Sunnis so I don't understand what your objection is here. 4. Masjid e Abu Bakr is Deobandi. |

Asslamo Allaikum,
Shaykh Salim Al-Amri not only doesn't follow any Madhab but is also a champion of Salafee Aqeedah. He is considered one of the Authorities on Salafi Aqeedah, many Western Muslims who in turn propagate Salafi Aqeedah are his stuents. I don't know about him "personally" but we should have the best of thoughts for any Shaykh. He believes in a certain thing and he teaches and propagates it so we should avoid what we disagree with but still have the best of thoughts for him as a "Muslim", Insha'Allah. |
