Finding a marriage partner?
Asalamu Alaikum,
I hope you are all in the best of health and hope Ramadhan was of great benefit to each and every one of you. Alhamdulillah, I have come to the stage in my life where I would like to get married. Although my parents have been looking, I would like to know the best way in looking for a sister. Does anyone have any ideas please? Jazak Allah Khair in advance. Wasalaam. |

Make dua What kind of girl you looking for? |
Insha Allah bro.
Most brothers have a checklist which they hope to tick each off. Alhamdulillah, all I ask for is a sister who wears the hijab, keen in learning about Islam and strives to be regular in salaah etc. |
Where are you from? How old?

http://discussworldissues.com/forums...lies/jazak.gif Your right about the hijab, and you have presented solid criteria, however the amount of women in that category is slim to none. I would also make dua every time you pray to get a righteousness beautiful wife. Allah (swt) is capable of all things. |

That's a bit of a sweeping statement don't you think? There are plenty of women who observe hijab properly, however chances are that it is exactly because of that that you have no idea they exist! Those kind of women don't hang around out and about for no reason, and will keep themselves to themselves. As well as your parents, ask your friends if they have sisters or if their sisters know anyone, ask your brothers to ask their friends, ask your sisters if they know anyone and ask your sisters to ask their friends. You should have a little network of 'lookouts' in no time. Having some kind of connection in this way is also useful in finding out more about the character of the sister once you've found her. |
Let us talk about Hayah in another thread. Totally off topic.
Lets concentrate on finding a wife for the brother here. |

As much as I see the benefits of getting married in Pakistan, it is both my parents and my own wishes that I don't take this route as let's just say I'm not the best at speaking my own language.http://discussworldissues.com/forums...s/icon_sad.gif And to the brother who says wait 3 more years, only Allah knows if and when it will happen and if it is written that I get married in 3 years then who am I to complain but everything tells me I'm ready so why not... Jazak Allah Khair for the interest shown in the topic lol, may Allah reward you all for your efforts. |
