Ayesha or Hafsa is not associated with Ahlul Bayt or family. She had bigger ties to the companions, so in this sense, They are both Wives, but, they are more considered towards the companions.
If your father doesnt count your mother as Ahlul bayt, doesnt mean Its same for others.

Among sunnis mother is treated as ahlul bayt. Shias can learn something good from the sunnis.

well, If most of shia kids are fruit of Muta marrieage, only DNA test can find out who their father are.... Because their mothers isnt fixed in one single home, thats why they dont consider their mother as Ahlul bayt of any home at all.
