Default The Life of Mohammed on BBC 2 (tonight at 9pm GMT)
In a ground-breaking first for British television, this three-part series presented by Rageh Omaar charts the life of Muhammad, a man who - for the billion and half Muslims across the globe - is the messenger and final prophet of God.

In a journey that is both literal and historical and beginning in Muhammad's birthplace of Mecca, Omaar investigates the Arabia Muhammad was born into - a world of tribal loyalties and polytheistic religion.

Drawing on the expertise and comment of some of the world's leading academics and commentators on Islam, the programme examines Muhammad's first marriage to Khadijah and how he received the first of the revelations that had such a profound effect both on his life, and on the lives of those closest to him.

Monday 11 July, 21:00 on BBC Two.

I'm sure the program has music in it. Better to read a Seerah Book than watching these kind of programs on TV.

Yea whatabout it? They're discussing the period of corrupt leaders that led to the demise of the Caliphate, they all sucked big time whether aal-Saud or the Sharif clown.

I am glad you asked that question, well you see I was asleep during the "History" session at school so I wouldn't know...

Have you ever heard of The McMahon–Hussein Correspondence? when he exchanged letters with the British who ordered him to start the "Great Arab Revolution" against the Ottomans? That's what happens when you side with the Kouffar against the Muslims, you bring disgrace to your entire nation.

His English friends turned on him then his own son turned on him and he was discarded...

Lawrence of Arabia had a lot of fun during his days, Turning Arabs on Turks and speaking for "Arabism"... and they followed him.

, very good bro, thats what I like to hear

With regards to the programme, blatantly the BBC arent gonna be honest or truthful in what they claim in their show, no point even watching it. We should make our own documentary and distribute it for free

Walikum us salam.

Yes in Pakistan.

Go to the Faizan-e-Madina Markaz in Karachi, the headquarters of Biddati Dawat e GHAIR Islami. You will see giant LCDs inside the main masjid.

Or, goto Wahh Cantt. Goto the Biddati masjid, and you will see live bayan of Ilyas Attari Qadari (Biddatti) on a giant LCD, live from Karachi. You can see Ilyas Biddatti going into wajd (absolute fake) in this clip --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xz4Ig...eature=related

Man, i love these green sweet sweet brothers, i.e, sabz meethay meethay bhai.

And they even have a Madani Van. Have you seen it? It is all painted green and roams around the streets.

There is a big screen TV in some of our mosques, too, but there are no videos or pictures. They are used for information purposes and serve as virtual bulletin boards.
