Default Meeting with Maulana Yunus Patel Sahib Damat Barakatuhum

I met Maulana last night. He goes to Haram at around 11 at night. Masha'Allah, i really like him. He's the second sheikh i've really liked after Mufti Rasheed Ahmed sahib (RA).

First he goes and stands infront of the Rawza e Mubarak for around 15-20 mins. Then they leave and sit somewhere in the masjid and make dua, which is around 10 mins.

He leaves the masjid then and meets people outside the Masjid. I said Salam to him then, he said where were you? Didn't come. I said hazrat i came in Maghrib, you weren't here.

Hazrat is very nice Masha'Allah. Then he again made dua standing outside.

Very Allah wala, true Allah wala..

The best thing is no chamchas.

If anyone is looking for a sheikh, please contact him. he promptly replies to emails also, even from here he replies.

maulana@yunuspatel.co.za

Great man..... Gives everyone proper attention.

Moulana you should have asked him the question you posted here about his shaikh Moulana Hakeem Akhtar sahib db telling a couple of people no for 2nd wife while his son has 3 wives. Moulana Yunus Patel sahib db would be able to give you a good clear detailed answer more than what we can answer on here about his shaikhs advices. Please let me know what the moulana says.

Truly. His advices remind me of another awesome personality whom I have utmost love and respect for. Hakeemul Ummah Hazrat Moulana Ashraf 'Ali Thanwi saheb .

A while back I was reading Hakeemul Ummah's malfoozat and was wondering who they remind me of? Then when I read something by Hazrat, it immediately clicked.

We are missing Hazrat in South Africa! But am very happy he is in Madeenah. His love for Allah, Rasulullah and Madeenah kindles the fire of love in hearts of others.

Waaleykum'Assalaam!

Maulana, looks like you abhor the chamchas around Sheikhs with the same intensity as I do. I love Maulanas/Sheikhs who can easily be approached. Will try reaching Sheikh Yunus Sahab via e-mail soon. Insha'Allah!

Sheikh I'm very clear on this topic. I have no doubts alhamdulillah.

Secondly we have met Maulana Mazhar sahib himself regarding this issue. He encourages it, and he supports it alot. I have also mentioned earlier, he offered my Ustad to publish his book also.

So i really don't need to ask for any clarifications.

Anyone who wants Chamcha Tassawuff we have plenty of it in UK. You call and get an appointment and then you drive 100 miles and a Chamcha tells you Hazrat has a headache so can't see you.

You tell the "Chamcha" that he actually asked me to come here but "Chamcha" will have none of it so you leave and drive back 100 miles.

2 days later Hazrat gives apologies and whats the point? You wasted 200 miles and hours of my time with your "chamchay" over a simple matter which could have been resolved in a text message.

Chamcha says, "Hazrat is so busy, you can't believe how busy Hazrat is!"

Hazrat tells you that he will ring you at a specific time and nothing happens for a week and Chamcha sends you a text message to say "Hazrat is so busy, you can't believe how busy Hazrat is!"

Hazrat tells you that he will meet you in Maghrib and nothing happens for a week and Chamcha says "Hazrat is so busy, you can't believe how busy Hazrat is!"

The mureeds serving a sufi shaykh deserve respect. Nowadays , not many religious people are interested in Tasawwuf due to many reasons. On top of that , very few people want to spend fulll time in the company of a shaykh. So, if you see someone in the service of a shaykh, you should respect him due to your love for the shaykh.

Anyone serving your beloved should also get a degree of love and respect.

All in favour of doing Khidmah (Service) to Ulama & Mashaykh should make an intention and act upon it and may Allah (SWT) give all of us the ability.

All willing to be the following, sign up in the room next door.

Sheikh thora Raham, i'm sitting in public, can't stop laughing

Another thing chamchas tell you, Hazrat is in Muraqabah, please come later. (Hazrat might be trying out astral projection, if you disturb him, his rooh might now return).

These are real events.

I saw one hazrat, doing zikr in Haram. Mureeds surrounding him. A poor soul came to ask hazrat a masla. This guy wasn't even deeni. Chamcha said, Hazrat is doing zikr, come later...

Assaaam'aaleykum!

Bhai mere, it's not only about Shuyookh from Tassawwuf background. Even TJ Akabireen and Maulanas from other walks of life are seen surrounded with these Bouncers type Chamchas. Serving a Shaykh is one thing but behaving and acting like Bouncers is a different thing.

P.S - I am not painting everyone serving the Shuyook with the same brush. I have come across some really pious Khadim but again I have also seen some who personifies the typical characteristics of Chamcha.

I am out!

Nice sharing indeed.
Being in Madeenah you should be able to see plenty of such people, including the non-deobandi ones.

Wassalam.

I saw one Akabir in Hajj season. He was in Masjid e Nabawi on a wheel chair. People recognized him and came to do Musafaha. Believe me, i saw this with my own eyes, the chamcha started RUNNING with the SHEIKH's WHEELCHAIR in MASJID e NABAWI.

I went to meet one BIG SHEIKH in haram. A chamcha was sitting besides him. I just stood there because the Maulana with me was talking to this sheikh. The chamcha started to pull my shalwar and constantly bugging me don't stand here. Go stand at the back. Man, if it wasn't masjid e nabawi i would've put him in his place.

Then there was this BIG BIG INTERNATIONAL SHEIKH, i used to be with this friend of the sheikh. But this chamcha didn't know. So we were walking and the chamcha was like, don't make a crowd, stay away. constantly telling people not to walk with hazrat. I told the chamcha get lost man, why do you even come to haram if you don't like people meeting you?

Maulana Yunus Patel's Khadim is a very nice person masha'Allah. No chamchaness in him. This khadim calls me himself to tell me where Hazrat is, come meet him.
