Default Formula for finding the page no: of each Juz in the Quran.

I found this interesting article on finding the page no: of each Juz in the Quran. it will come handy.

Dear brothers and sisters,
Here is an amazing formula for getting the first page of every JUZ' you intend searching for in the Qur'aan.

Let's say we intend knowing what page Juz' 9 falls for example.

Just follow this illustration carefully:

The Juz we intend knowing it's page is '9'
'1' will be deducted from 9= 8.
8 will further be multiplied by 2= 16.
The number '2' will there after be added to the right side of 16= 162.
That is simply the page of Juz nine (162). Try it out for other Juz's

Illustration:
9-1= 8
8*2=16
16 (2)=162

Edit: As pointed out by others(mujahid7ia,Taliban,Hafiz Gee) this works for "madina mashaf" and all other 15 liners, not the 13, 16, or 17 liners.

Thanks!
But brother, I realised that the 2nd juz is on page 22, the 3rd one is on page 42, the 4th one is on page 62...
It increases by 20 pages every time you go for a juz.

Yes with the formula, it actually increases 20 pages for every Juz. So actually one can easily find out the Juz no: by the knowing the page no: easily too.

Eg. page no: 277 will be between 262 and 282, so its in Juz 14 [(26/2)+1]

I'm assuming this is only referring to the Madina mushaf?

Instead of doing all the math and spending hours on this equation, why don't you just turn the pages and find out?

Are you sure bro? I checked the first pages of Juz 28, 29 and 30. They were on 542, 562, and 572 respectively.
