Default Window XP
Salaam,

(1) I have installed Windows 7 & Xp both at a time and When I open my Computer the screen will show 2 options ( 7 & Xp) (Default is windows 7), later I uninstalled Windows 7 ( Not exciting as I thought) but the screen is still showing the 2 options. So my question is how to remove it?

(2) How to remove or uninstall the " login " applications when the Xp is started, as I am getting a little bit frustrated by this two problems.

I have to overcome this two big problems to view Sunniforum.

Hope someone will help me out .................

Start> Run> Msconfig

Go to BOOT.ini (be careful) delete only the Windows 7 part under 'operating systems'.

.
Do you mean startup applications?

Go to Msconfig as mentioned above and click on the 'startup' tab. Uncheck boxes next to unwanted programs that you dont want to run during start up.

Brother Siraj the least complicated way to solve your problem, especially for those who aren't computer savvy is the following software;

Easy BCD

Download it from here;

http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=1

  1. Go to Edit boot menu
  2. Select Windows 7 partition
  3. Delete it
  4. Save settings
  5. Reboot

Let me know if you have any problems, as its been a while since I used the software for deleting a partition.
