Default Is it easy settling in the Middle East for work with family? (from UK)
I'm thinking of moving to a muslim country to settle with my family as we think we'd be more comfortable there both islamically and financially. A tax-free salary sounds good.
We are looking at Saudi or gulf states, liek UAE etc.
I have a wife and kids and I am a mechanical engineer with over 6 years experience in the UK. British citizen with pakistani heritage.

It sounds liek a good idea but we have so many questions.
Like, what are the best websites or job agencies to contact?
Is it easy to get a working visa for the whole family?
Are the schools there any good?

We would appreciate the views of any other members who have made the hijrah or who know experiences of others.
Thansk.

I used to live in Qatar ... amazing and everyone speaks english.. Yeah gulf states are probably the best option. Also, my pakistani uncle moved to saudi last year, and he seems fine there with his family, and there are many American schools there for english speakers..

Sorry thats about all i can say since im only 16 and dont know much about work and stuff, but just thought that info might help a bit
