Default Of Dating and Religion
Hello there! Currently I am writing about love, dating and being single. I am just wondering if in the Islam way is dating allowed in your culture? Is there a big issue about dating pertaining your religion? How are two people given the chance to know each other more in your country before going through marriage? Does a woman has the right to decline if she find his partner to be unsuitable for her qualifications? Different culture with different approach on dating, this is what I want to know. Thank you.
Hi Alodia. Welcome to SF. Hope your stay here is fruitful.
Dating is not allowed in Islam. That is the end all and be all of the issue in the Islamic faith.
Two people are allowed to know each other in detail AFTER marraige, rather than before. Ofcourse, if it is something important, they can write letters to each other about serious subjects.
A woman has the right to decline if she finds her partner unsuitable.

Doesn't Shari'ah allow Ta'aruff session before marriage between both the prospects provided that they are accompanied by family member from either side?
