![]() There is another Deobandi Mufti , Faisal Khurshid, who claims to have studied in Dar Ul Uloom Karachi , coverted to "Ghamidism". He defends many of Ghamidi's individual positions. I think the Ulema should take a notice of it as more and more people are getting attracted to Mr.Ghamidi these days.Mainly , Ghamidi is known as a "Munkar i Hadith" but i think that will not solve the issue as he is completely a different entity from Ghulam Ahmed Parvez. GAP was a continuation of the naturalistic and deistic thought of Sir Syed Ahmed khan while Ghamidi is the continuation of the modernist and assertive thought of Hameed Ud din Farahi and Ameen Ahsan Islahi with a slight blend of Maududi's impact on Ameen Ahsan and Ghamidi.This specific thought has gone almost unnoticed and un-refuted scholastically. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFRZtAX3PEE |

I know what you mean. (These few drop outs get always too much attention. Look at all the sons and grandsons who are doing great work of Deen and all the other DU Karachi graduates that go unnoticed, but doing great work.) But your question makes no sense, because those men that apostated are by definition not even called Sahabah. ![]() I understand that the question is awkwardly stated. Basically (and I'm pretty sure you already got this point), I meant that there were people who converted to Islam during the life of Rasulullah ![]() |
