I only read part of the text and was granted ijazah with sanad. I have a general ijazah for the whole text, though as the Ulema have said one should try to get ijazah which is of Sama'(actual hearing or reading of the text in the presence of the teacher).
I live in the States.

I would recommend you to get in contact with Shaykh Daniel who at the moment is very busy these days, but I would be glad to give you his contact information if the mods can pass our emails.
