aslam o alikum Its normal, there are ups and downs in deen. Without the downs, one cant appreciate the ups. Similarily, without sickness, we cant appreciate health. Know that, its a test from Allah SWT. If you keep your deeni duties in check in this state, you get rewarded tremendously. Make sure of the following: 1 - stay away from sinning 2 - Do not miss the prayers Sister, to be honest; this is an excellent time to get closer to Allah SWT. Pray Salatul Hajaat, get up an hour before Fajr and pray Tahajud. Its all down to your intention. Make a strong intention, be firm in what you do, if you fall down. Its ok, get up again and start over. If you still fall again, get up and start over. Contact a Shaykh and ask his advice on what to do. I pray that you come out of this state. Ameen. Wasalam |

aslam o alikum I am as My servant thinks I am. I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assemble better than it. And if he draws near to Me an arm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed. We can only do our best i guess and then its all down to His Mercy. May Allah make you one of His closest friends and give me the same. ameen. |

![]() Imagine yourself in the shoes of the person you are talking to. Would you like it if someone was harsh and rude to you? Treat others as you would want to be treated. As for what you are describing about your how you're feeling regarding Deen, this is what is called Qabdh and Bast. It's normal in every Muslims life where at certain times they feel incredibly close to Allah Ta'aala and want to make extra ibaadat, and yet at other times everything seems to be a standstill. What you have to make sure no matter what is that you continue following the ahkaam of Allah no matter what you feel. Even if you do not feel any spirituality in your salaah, even if you cannot cry while making duaa, even if you do not feel anything while reading Qur'aan, still persist! Allah Ta'aala is so Merciful, He loves even this, that His slave is persisting in following His commands even if he is feeling spiritually low. Wishing and thinking it'd be better if you were dead is a defeatist attitude. Allah Ta'aala gave us life on this Earth for one purpose: to worship Him. So everything we do must be governed by what He wishes. The temptations and tests that come to us is what will raise our ranks in His eyes. Remember the situations Rasulullah ![]() ![]() There's more I can say, however my words are a jaahilah's words. Please listen to this talk by Moulana Yunus Patel saheb. http://yunuspatel.net/Audio/2007/spe...08-06-2007.mp3 Alternatively, you can read the book that is a transcription of the talk (although I read the book first, I loved the talk even more) http://yunuspatel.co.za/downloads/Fe...ituallyLow.pdf |

aslam o alikum 1) Make tons of dua' and cry as much as you can while imploring Allah, like a child cries while imploring his mother. 2) Ask forgiveness from everyone who you are rude to. Don't hesitate. Seek forgiveness from whoever it is at the drop of a hat. 3) Make sure you don't miss your fard prayers. May Allah turn in mercy towards you. WS. |

im the same sometimes with my friends, teachers and parents !
it just happens, then before i sleep i think "what the hell" but honestly, the cure which i found to this was that praying regular, and increasing my ibadah its made me a better person... it just happens by itself ! you might read this and think "your just saying that because its a muslim forum" (or something of the sort) but honestly, increasing your ibadah does help oh ! and sometimes after youv spoken your words. maybe later on just say sorry and explain why you said such things. or just say you dont know why you said such things. i feel this helps after knowing the other person is okay with it |

Don't worry sis, All of us go through this phase. As everyone already mentioned stick to 3 things:
1) Salah 2) Quran 3) Dikr Recite Fathiha, Ikhlas, Falaq and Nas frequently. Do NOT underestimate the power of it. They are specific to the troubles of Shaytan. Also byheart Ayatul Khursi its very very very useful. And frequent any one Dikr everyday.(eg: Subhan Allaahi Wa bihamdihi). Also make a lot of Dua. Only Allah can guide us. 'There is nothing mightier in the Scales than Good Manners in the Day of Resurrection.' There is a specific Dua for Good Manners: ![]() |
