Asalaamu alaykum
I just saw this: http://english.hizbuttahrir.org/inde...274-the-sahaba I question just came to my mind. Using Quran and Sunnah how can we refute this claim? It's not something something I know a lot about but someone from HT told me that amir muawiah is not a sahabi!! But isnt amir muawiyah a sahabi according to their own definition? |

According to HT, sayyiduna Mu'awiya (radiya Allahu Ta'ala 'anhu) was not a Sahabi. I think they have the same view of sayyiduna Abu Sufyan and sayyiduna 'Amr ibn al-'As (radiya Allahu Ta'ala 'anhuma). Their reasons for this deviant belief is going against the Khalifa (sayyiduna 'Ali, radiya Allahu 'anhu wa karrama wajhah). La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah... Thick books could be written on the deviances of Hizb ut-Tahrir. |
