my sister was sitting in the attic she saw a few shadows moving. However, she thought it didnt matter and the next day her bed was shooken. This really frightened her and now she is scared all the time. We spoke to some people from india and they asked for her name and mothers name and are asking for £400. I dont know what to do.

That price of £400 is far too extortionate sister thus this shows that it is only some greedy people pretending to have a cure/solution; a cure based on holy water, amulets [with Quranic verses on], etc, has to come from a very pious person sister and greed and taking advantage of vulnerable situations and trying to extort money certainly is a great barrier to the proper type of piety needed to make such cures work, so my advice to you will be not to pay up and look for another good 'holy person' and there are some in the uk [if you live here] so there is no need to get cure from India really

Also sister, the shaking up of the bed could have been just your sisters imagination or a bad dream which seemed like real, due to your sister becoming afraid after seeing those shadows and the shaytaan taking advantage of her, so first I'd see if this is a recurring problem and in the meantime, your siser should read the four Quls and Ayatul Kursi and blow in her hands and wipe her body with her hands and then go to sleep; inshAllah that would be enough to get rid of the problem; also if she is not doing her five daily salaahs, then she shouls start [if she is age 7 or up] as the shaytaan and jinns fear those who do their prayers and keep away from such people

AAYATUL KURSI is THE best solution. It is THE greatest ayah of the greatest and most blessed book of the Creator of the universe (which includes jinns!!). The amount of Ahadith stating its significance and its power are uncountable. maybe a learned person can write down a few. Just tell her to read it in the morning and in the evening, and also to read the last three surahs of the quran and blow on herself. this whole procedure shud be done thrice (this is also from the hadith). And obviously, keep making dua to Allah Ta'ala for help. Trust me, it wil work, Insha Allah.

u are correct, there is also a book called manzil, for things like jinn. i read the book every day and blow it on myself.

You should see how scared I am on the first few days back home after stories about jinns in Tarrbiyah camp...

Jinns live in trees BTW, so you should never urinate under a tree and try your best not to fear Jinns, everyone has their own Jinn companion which has been with them from birth and knows everything about them and if you fear Allah then every other creature will fear you.

The best Dua's I know for protection from Jinn's are Ayatul Kursi and A'oozubillah and Bismillah and also read the entering and leaving the house Dua's so they cannot stay in your house overnight, also recite Qur'aan regularly aloud.

Sufficient for all protection is to read the following morning and evening if you yourself feel the effects of some evil influence:

- 3 x Durood Sharief
- 3 x Ayatul Kursi
- 3 Quls (i.e. Surah Ikhlaas, Surah Falaq and Surah Naas - see attached) to be read 3 times each
- 99 x La Haula wala Quwata Illah Billah
- 3 x Durood Sharief

Blow over yourself. Blow on water and drink. Make Taubah and Istighfaar from sins. Take out some Sadaqah. Do this morning and evening. Make lots of dua.

I advice you to keep away from those people you mentioned. It is a known fact among the people of knowledge that a person is highly likely a magician or a sorcerer working with Jinns when they ask for your mother's maiden name. A Raqi or Imaam doesn't need to know anything about your mother to help you, that is the biggest proof against frauds like that. Also, looking at the amount of money they are asking I, personally, would stay far away from them.

Best thing is to contact your local Imaam, they will then advice you to read Quran and that will be suffician insha'Allah.
