....does anybody know any very old maulna sahab in pakistan....someone who met the likes of Maulna Thanwi......Maulana Abdur Rahman Ashrafi passed away a few months back.....Havent met any old buzurgs in my life....

Hadrat Mawlana Jamshaid sahib in Raiwind has met Hakim al Ummah Mawlana Thanawi.. He was quite da'eef though the last time I met him.. may Allah protect him and prolong his life.

A long time ago I think to remember, that I've read somewhere on SF that Maulana Jamshed was supposed to be the adoptive son of Hakeemul Ummah . Is this true?
