Default Arabic transliteration software
Bismillahirrahmanirraheem
Assalamu alaikum
I posted this in the other thread http://www.sunniforum.com/forum/show...-tamil-muslims
As I need help from others too and not just restricted to tamil muslims, I am posting here again.

I have this software eiktub which transliterates english into arabic but it doesnt have the vowel signs like straight fatah, kasra and inverted damma for long vowel sound. Can anyone recommend any such software? How do people type with such vowel signs in books? I think these vowel signs are oriented towards indo-pak. I would really appreciate if anyone could help me.

Books are normally produced with full Arabic keyboard layouts, not using transliteration software. The Arabic keyboard layouts in Windows includes some common diacritics.

If you are talking about this software http://www.eiktub.com/screen_shot.html then it DOES have vowel signs. Go to Format drop down menu, follow input script, then choose Arabic Batr. That's all. Start typing. For vowels such as fatha, type hit the key a, for kasra i, for damma u.

Yeah I have been using like that but the software doesnt have a straight fatah, kasrah and inverted damma as used in some scripts for long vowel sound. I am in need of that.
