Best non Muslim and Muslim country to live?
 

Those of you who have been lucky in life to experience different countries what are the best countries to live (and work!) and why (for a Muslim)?

I've been in US and India.

In India there is lot of striving for deen. In US, its very easy as the country allows freedom for religion.
In US, muslims sisters wear barbie , yellow colored hijab to grab attention. In India, Muslim sisters wear black hijab.
I prefer India.

I thought that I would always promote the West as it allows religious freedoms to "everyone", but I have to say that the Middle East wins, definitely. The religious freedoms in the West are not as for "everyone" as some might think.

Even if in the UK, people are racist/islamophobic sometimes.. at least they treat me as an equal when they curse me! in the Gulf, the racism is more pernicious, i feel the racists there actually view me as less of a human being... and i really don't like the way some racists there ask our south asian imams 'are you muslim?'.. doubting the beards they see on their faces and the piety they see all over their appearance..
i think this whole world is a struggle right now.. if the UK is not ideal.. then it is up to us to make it ideal..
I like the comfort levels in USA, but its very strange. in UK its possible to see a non-hijabi sister who is still 'spiritual'. in the US you either have girls who wear hijabs, or girls who have practically left islam.. i exagerrate, but not by much.. I wouldn't want to live in a country where the chances of my (future) children leaving Islam are un-necessarily high.
