It is stated in the Quran:ان كنتم تحبون الله فاتبعوني يحببكم الله (translation: Say (O Prophet), if you love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you.) and the Prophet PBUH said: قال رسول الله -صلي الله عليه وسلم-:من احب سنتي فقد احبني و من احبني كان معي في الجنه (الترمذي ) (mafhoom: whoever loves my sunnah, loves me, and whoever loves me , is going to be with me in Paradise) If you love the prophet صلي الله عليه و سلم , then join this group! What we are going to do, is take a sunnah every three days and make sure we act upon it until we become used to it, and becomes a habit, until our whole life becomes like the life of the prophetصلي الله عليه و سلم . Show you love the prophet, and join this group! I have created this thread because I always pass by this hadith, and wish I could be with The Prophet in Paradise, and I have noticed it is hard to do something alone, but it gets easy with a group, and I was thinking that we see thousands of people following famous singers, actors, they make them their role models, and we say we are Muhammadi, we are from his ummah, he is our role model, then why dont we act upon what he taught us? Why arent our lives like his? How come we care so much and get sad if something valuable of ours breaks but we dont show we care if we break our prophets sunnah when we know that our success is in his ways??? What kind of love is this? When Munkar Nakeer will ask us in our grave: من نبيك (whos your prophet?) How will we answer them if we dont even act upon his teachings? Come on, lets be the one about who the Prophet will be able to say proudly: he is my ummati (he is from my ummah), lets not be the one from who the prophet will turn his face away! I invite you to show you are from the ummah of Prophet Muhammad , صلي الله عليه و سلم! Lets Make our Prophet proud and make for ourselves a castle in Paradise right next to the prophets!!!
May ALLAH t3ala give us all the tawfeeq to implement ALL of the sunnahs of our habeeb Muhammad صلي الله عليه و سلم in our daily lives with ikhlaas, aameen! A humble request for duas please. Try to keep all members of this thread, that may we all be given the tawfeeq, aameen. |

@taliburizarehman A little information It could be you are using a translation which has a little printing error with Book & Volume number. You can just change Book number to Volume number and Volume number to Book number. Before Bukhari :: Book 4 :: Volume 54 :: Hadith 516 After Bukhari :: Book 54 :: Volume 4 :: Hadith 516 Please let me know if i am in wrong. BTW very nice thread |

Im actually not sure, if Book was the kitab, and volume was the juz, then yes your correct, Yes you can say just 4.516 or as follow Bukhari: Volume 4, Book 54, Number 516: Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "If anyone of you rouses from sleep and performs the ablution, he should wash his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out thrice, because Satan has stayed in the upper part of his nose all the night." http://www.shariahprogram.ca/Hadith/...i/054.sbt.html |

Sis talibz maybe you should consider naming a sunnah to start with, and then whoever wants to participate can report back to the thread after three days... Something like that? |

Previous Sunnah:
1) Performing Ablution (Wudhu), and doing siwaak upon waking up New Sunnah: Reciting dua and rubbing of the effects of sleep upon waking up. Narrated Hudhayfah , “When the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلّم) got up he would say: الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi ahyaana ba’da ma amaatana wa ilayhin-nushur. All praise is to Allah Who gave us life after death (sleep) and unto Him is the return. [Bukhari] When the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلّم) woke up he would sit and rub the traces of sleep off his face with his hands. [Bukhari] |

ALLAH t3ala will reward you greatly inshaALLAH t3ala! And alhamdulillah t3ala wa mashaALLAH t3ala so far all sunahs are in my daily routine, how about everyone else? Jazakumullah t3ala ahsanal jaza |

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Whoever says, 'Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi,' one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea. (Bukhari :: Book 75 :: Volume 8 :: Hadith 414 ) This is the third sunnah... Am I doing this all by myself? |

Jazakumullah t3ala ahsanal jaza wa khairan katheeran katheera! I think people should continue with this thread. Some may not be reporting regularly bcos they might be practicing this already or for some other reason. This thread is good to remind of sunnahs. Let Allah SWT help us to follow the sunnah of the Prophet SAW. Ameen |

*New sunnah..#4 RE: when wearing garments
When wearing one's trousers, first put on the right leg, then the left one. When putting on a kurta or shirt, first put one the right sleeve and then the left one. The same procedure should be followed when wearing a vest. When wearing a shoe, first put on the right shoe. When removing any garment or shoe, first remove the left, then the right. This is the sunnah method when removing any garment from the body. (Bukhaari, Tirmidhi "The chapter on clothing" and Shamaail Tirmidhi) *Beautiful Sunnats of the Beloved Nabi sallAllaahu alaihi wasallam, Hazrat Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar Saheb [daamat barakaatuhm] |
