Assalamu alaykum

I recall many TJ brothers from Mumbai posting about the work among these khawas.

But let me admit: TJs withdraw from SF very quickly. Wallahu Aalam.
I heard that one jamaat in dubai went to meet a hero named Khan in bollywood, he didnt listen or he asked jamaat to leave his house.
I heard this in my first 3 days khurooj

Assalaam'aaleykum!

He wasn't supposed to fast to begin with. I am sure you know that a Musafir is exempted from the obligation of fasting. So, you can start repecting him again now just in case you didnt know about it.

I know about Shari'i flexibility about fasting when anyone is a musafeer. But still there are some matters related to the degree of dedication for Deen.
I'm saying this on the basis of his great features i.e. beard, sticking to Halaal income, relationship with a great Shaykh etc. He is not supposed to spend that holiest month in futile activities. If he would abstain himself from that tournament only for the sake of Ramadhan, it could be a great dawah for other muslims.

When a person pays 500$ fine for the sake of deen and has a complete Shariah beard and drinks water in sunnah position.
He knows the fiqh of fasting and also knows that fasting will increase his Taqwa.

Surah Hujjirat says NOT TO JUDGE ANYONE

Like brother servant of Allah i feel this post was useless. At the very least posting something like this on a public forum rather than discussing it with him is a useless waste of time.

Assalamu alaykum

Mohammed Yousuf (of pakistan) career ended (he was at the peak of his career that time, international cricketer of the year by ICC) when he refused to play cricket during Ramadhan.
, this should be an ideal characteristic of a muslim.

Everyone are different from others. Might be Allah has made Yousuf leave cricket for Paki crickets and Paki ummah to realize the importance of deen over duniya & Hashim Amla to stay in cricket to propagate Islam among non muslims cricketers and Muslim gillete Mach3 razor using Muslim crickets. Allah knows the best.

May Allah forgive me if I assumed wrong.

Man, I'm not judging anyone. Allaah knows about my heart and intention.
Its a kinda disappointment. I really expect a lot from him and hence these issues have come out.

Good response from all brothers.

whatever difference of opinion we have, BY END OF THE DAY - WE ARE STRIVING TO OBEY COMMANDMENTS OF ALLAH S.W.T BY FOLLOWING THE BLESSED FOOTSTEPS OF MUHAMMAD MUSTAPHA
(PROPHET OF MEN AND JINN,
THE TRUSTWORTHY,
THE PROPHET OF PEACE, JUSTICE, MERCY,
THE HERO WHOM MOST HIS FOLLOWERS HAVENT SEEN AND DONT EVEN HAVE A CLUE OF HIS FACE/BEARD/HEIGHT)
SALLALAHU ALAIHI WASSALAM

This is a great sign of unity in terms of Quran and Sunnah in this duniya.
May Allah make us united in Jannah too.

Ameen.

But, before happy ending I wished to find out a way for sending dawah to bro Hashim. Unfortunately no South African brother took responsibility.

It seems that most of the people are not interested about talking about "Khan"s. We should not stop making Dua.

Hashim Amla, in my opinion, is already in safe hands (his shaykh), why do you think he should be given dawah to spend time in jam'at? At the end of the day, it all comes down to getting one's Islah done, be it through dawah/tableegh or islahi relationship with a Shaykh, which he's already into.

He is doing a great job by representing Islam to a much wider audience with his actions on & off the ground, something that you and I together wouldn't be able to do. He is a Daee in himself, bro.

I don't understand why do we wish everybody to spend time in khrooj.

I find it an utter disgrace that some people are questioning Hashim Amla's commitment to his deen. He was well within his right to do what he did, but some people like the khawarij are never satisfied. For those who think cricket is some kinda futile activity, maybe for you, but for him its his livelihood.

Not only does his playing cricket provide a platform for dawat on an international level, especially given the calibre of a player he is, but also provides an excellent opportunity to present Islam amongst influential non-Muslim, and no doubt their opinions of Islam would have changed since the advent of Hashim Amla in the team.

As for Mohammed Yousuf, what about his cancellation of the contract that he signed to the ICL, that wasn't very Islamic like was it? but perhaps due to his Tabligh connections I'm guessing his faults are over looked.

I do not know the level of Imaan in either of these players, but faults exist in us all, with the exception of the Ambiya, even though they were prone to wordly mistakes. However to pick faults in someone just because he decided it better not to fast for 18 hours, as a musafir when the option was available, is a bit petty.
