assalamu alaykum i was thinking, so how exactly does the hanafi group cope with contemporary problems? Do the mujtahideen provide a fatwa that everybody else sticks to or can there be freedom on contemporary problems? For instance might any hanafi students allow shaking hands with girls? Also because they are likely to enhance the prices of uni to 9000 per year next year therefore if its haraam, no one will pay that aside from dodi al fayyad what's the judgment on student education loans with interest

Regarding student loans with interest, Islamic finance scholars generally consider interest-bearing loans to be prohibited (haram) in Islam due to the prohibition of riba (usury) and also check Other arguments there. However, there are discussions among scholars about the permissibility of educational loans in specific cases where there are no interest-free alternatives and based on individual circumstances.
