Can you please explain the following in Bukhari?:
100 wives or 90 wives or 70 wives or 60 wives attributed to Hazrat Sulaiman (pbuh) in these hadith: Sahih Bukhari: Volume 7, Book 62, Number 169: Narrated Abu Huraira: (This hadith attributes 100 wives to Prophet Sulaiman (pbuh)) www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/fundamentals/hadithsunnah/ 2 Sahih Bukhari: Volume 8, Book 78, Number 634: Narrated Abu Huraira: (This hadith attributes 90 wives to Prophet Sulaiman (pbuh)) Sahih Bukhari: Volume 8, Book 79, Number 711: Narrated Abu Huraira: (This hadith attributes 90 wives to Prophet Sulaiman (pbuh)) Sahih Muslim :: Book 15 : Hadith 4069 Abu Huraira reported: (This hadith attributes 70 wives to Prophet Sulaiman (pbuh)) Sahih Bukhari: Volume 9, Book 93, Number 561: Narrated Abu Huraira: (This hadith attributes 60 wives to Prophet Sulaiman (pbuh)) I used to be follow hadith closely... but these arguments I find on the internet against books like bukhari have really effected my faith in hadith. Please don't dodge the question by banning me. I am a brother who has a legitimate question. Thank you salam. |
