Al Salam Aleykum, NOW THE OLD CHEESE TOPIC, I thought I'd add it here for those who didn't see it.
Check out these Priceless Twelver Rafidhi Fatwas about"Cheese", Yes their scholars and Narrations seem to state that eating Cheese is Makruh(Hated By Allah). However if you want to cancel this out you must eat The Cheese with nuts, WHY? Because eating Nuts is also Makruh, and according to the Sharif Hadiths & Narrations If you join Both Makruh they cancel out eachother and it's no longer Hated by Allah. Then He starts talking about the Medical aspect of this and says that Cheese makes the brain cells To become Inactive (Like his brain cells and of those who follow him). However eating cheese at night is Mustahabb according to Al imam al Redah because it'll allow you to go to sleep. So remember O Twelver Shiite believers That eating Cheese is Makruh Unless you eat it with nuts OR and this is my personal Ijtihad, Unless you can add just a speck of Husseini Sand of Karbala Then it'll be a recipe which will lead you straight to heaven since eating sand is Halal in your Madhab. [ 31387 ] 2 ـ وعنه ، عن أحمد ، عن إدريس بن الحسن ، عن عبيد بن زرارة ، عن أبيه ، عن أبي عبدالله ( عليه السلام ) ، قال : إن الجوز والجبن إذا اجتمعا كانا دواء ، وإذا افترقا كانا داء . [ 31388 ] 3 ـ أحمد بن أبي عبدالله البرقي في ( المحاسن ) عن بعض أصحابنا رفعه ، قال : الجبن يهضم الطعام قبله ، ويشهّي ما بعده . أقول : وتقدم ما يدل على كراهة الجبن وحده (1) . Narrations from the Chapter: 31386- Muhammad bin Ya'aqoob, Muhammad bin Yahya, Ahmad bin Ahmad, Ibn mahboob, Abdul Azeez al Abdee Said: I heard Abu Abdullah RAA say: Cheese and Nuts, if they mix in both will be healing, if they separate They become a disease. 31387- Narrated Muhsin al burqee in (AL Mahasen) ibn Mahboob from his like and like him from Ahmad, Idrees bin al Hassan, Ubayd bin Zurarah, from his father, That Abu Abdullah RAA said: Cheese and Nuts if they mix they are a cure and if they are separated they will be a disease. 31388- Ahmad bin Abu Abdullah al buraqee ( Al Mahasen) from a couple of our friends, That he said: ...... And I say: There is proof that Eating Cheese alone is Makruh. Now in 14masom Dot Com there is a book they have called "The Medicine of the Infallibles" or "teb-masomeen", On page 16 of this you'll find a couple of the Hadiths: http://www.14masom.com/teb-masomeen/pages/16.htm عن أبي عبد الله (عليه السلام), قال: (سأله رجل عن الجبن فقال: داء لا دواء فيه)، ودخل الرجل عليه في وقت آخر, ونظر إلى الجبن على الخوان, فقال: سألتك بالغداة, عن الجبن, فقلت: هو الداء الذي لا دواء فيه , والساعة أراه على خوانك ؟! قال, فقال لي: هو ضار بالغداة, نافع بالعشيّ, ويزيد في ماء الظهر. وروي أن مضرّة الجبن في قشرة. قال أبو عبد الله (عليه السلام): (الجبن والجوز إذا اجتمعا في كل واحد منهما شفاء, وأن افترقا, كان في كل واحد منهما داء). قال الصادق (عليه السلام): (نعم اللقمة الجبن, يطيب النكهة, ويهضم ما قبله, ويمري بعده). عن محمد بن سماعه, عن أبيه, قال: سمعت أبا عبد الله (عليه السلام) يقول: (نعم اللقمة الجبن يعظم الفم, ويطيب النكهة, ويهضم ما قبلة, ويشهي الطعام, ومن يعتمد أكله رأس الشهر, أوشك أن لا ترد ّ له حاجه). I'll just translate the first one: Abu Abdullah RAA said: (A Man asked him about cheese so he said: It is an illness and there is no cure in it.) And the Man entered upon him again in the evening and saw cheese on the table and asked: (You told me this was Makruh this morning? why is it here?) Abu Abdullah RAA said: (It is an illness in the morning and a cure in the evening,.....UNTIL END OF NARRATION). So Yea I guess that Man was lucky that he entered again because he wouldn't have been able to eat cheese again in his entire life based on the first Fatwa the infallible Imam gave. BUT BETWEEN ME AND YOU, I am really interested in finding out how or which narrations state that 2 Makruhs can make a Mustahabb when joined together.... Salam Aleykum, The Respectable Twelver Shiite Scholar on the popular Shiite TV Channel Al Anwar talks about the Fiqh of eating Husseini Sand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nO17n1_oJ1g Translation and highlight of Speech: The Guy holding the microphone asks the question, "It is mentioned by the Prophet PBUH that it is Haram to eat Sand, does this include the Sand of Hussein's grave?" Now the scholarly answer: "Generally it is unaccepted to eat Sand in our Fiqh but at the same time it is Mustahabb (Loved by Allah and his Prophet) for a believer to eat a small quantity of sand "As Big as a grain of Hummus" of the sand of Hussein's grave because it has healing properties. Generally there are many Sahih hadiths about the turbah/Sand of hussein's grave, there are narrations about mixing it with water from the Iraqi river of Furat and rubbing it on the gums of a newborn baby ((Muslims have a narration About Dates and water if I recall, these guys replaced the dates with Husseini Sand)), It is also mustahabb to put a little bit of his sand in the grave of any deceased person, it is also mentioned that it's Mustahabb to carry a little bit of it when travelling and so on.." of course it is important for all twelvers to know that it must not be bigger than a grain of Hummus because they usually have a bad Habit of Swallowing a handful. http://www.fnoor.com/images/fn0136.jpg http://www.fnoor.com/images/fn1993.jpg http://www.fnoor.com/images/fn2292.jpg عن أبي الحسن قال « كُلُّ طِينٍ حَرَامٌ مِثْلُ الْمَيْتَةِ وَ الدَّمِ وَ لَحْمِ الْخِنْزِيرِ إلا طِينَ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ فَإِنَّ فِيهِ شِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ وَ لَكِنْ لا يُكْثَرُ مِنْهُ وَ فِيهِ أَمَانٌ مِنْ كُلِّ خَوْفٍ» (الكافي3/378). Abu al Hassan said: Eating Clay is Haram just like eating the dead, blood and Pig meat, Except for the Mud/Clay of Hussein's grave for it has healing properties and is a cure for all diseases But do not consume much of it and it has peace from every Threat. Al KAfi 3/378. وجاء في مفاتيح الجنان » لا يجوز مطلقا على المشهور بين العلماء أكل شيء من التراب أو الطين إلا تربة الحسين المقدسة استشفاء من دون قصد الإلتذاذ بها بقدر الحمصة. والأحوط أن لا يزيد قدرها على العدسة، ويحسن أن يضع التربة في فمه ثم يشرب جرعة من الماء ويقول: اللهم اجعله رزقا واسعا وعلما نافعا وشفاء من كل داء وسقم« (مفاتيح الجنان547). It was written in mafateeh al jinan page 547 that: According to what is popular amongst the scholars that it is strictly forbidden to eat any Mud or sand except the Holy Sand of Hussein's grave to seek the healing powers and not because of liking the taste and take as much as a grain of Hummus. And better that it does not go beyond the size of a lentil and it is even better to put this in his mouth then drink water and say: O Allah Make us benefit from our knowledge and increase our wealth and cure us from each Disease and illness. You're gonna thank God that they're actually eating sand instead of something else once you read what this Scholar says below: بول الأئمة وغائطهم سبب دخول الجنة ليس في بول الأئمة وغائطهم استخباث ولا نتن ولا قذارة بل هما كالمسك الأذفر، بل من شرب بولهم وغائطهم ودمهم يحرم الله عليه النار واستوجب دخول الجنة) (أنوار الولاية لآية الله الآخوند ملا زين العابدين الكلبايكاني 1409هـ – ص 440). Nothing which comes out of the Imam like Gha'et* and such is Dirty and Malicious or impure, on the contrast everything they produce is Clean and pure like Misk, In Fact if anyone drinks their Urine or "Gha'et" or blood, Hell will be forbidden for him and he must enter heaven. Ayatollah Muhammad Sa'idd al-Hakim also says it's valid to do Mu'tah with prostitutes, if they know it's a temporary marriage and not fee for adultery. Some other Ayatollahs don't permit that. However There is this Fatwa for Khoe'i and I am not exactly sure of what it says as I don't understand the text 100% and I am not sure how to go about translating this, Does he permit To have Mutah with a Fornicator here? (any Arab to help me out?) السؤال: حسب الفتوى لا عدة للزانية ، فلو فرضنا أننا أحضرنا زانية وكان يوجد عدة أشخاص .. فهل يجوز أن يتناوبوا العقد عليها ، بأن يعقد الأول ثم الثاني ثم الثالث ، والكل يدخل بها ؟ والسؤال .. ما الفرق بين المتعة والزنا في هذا الموضوع ؟ الفتوى: الفتوى هي أنه لا عدة من الزنا ، فإذا زنت وهي مزوجة جاز لزوجها الدخول بها ، وإن لم تكن مزوجة جاز التزويج بها ، ولا عدة عليها من زناها ، نعم إذا أراد الزاني أن يتزوج بها ، فالأحوط لزوما كونه بعد الاستبراء بحيضة ، ولم يفت أحد بأن المرأة إذا زنت جاز التزويج بها لكل أحد في كل يوم مع الدخول ، من دون عدة ، والتزويج مع الدخول يقتضي الاعتداد إذا حصل الافتراق ، وكيف يتزوج بها في عدة تزويج الغير؟ ومن تزوج بامرأة معتدة ، ودخل بها حرمت عليه أبدا ، وإن كان جاهلا بالحكم ، والله العالم. these people are worse than animals. i have one fatwa of the shias which if the mods permit ill show the link to where a young 15yo girl writes to an ayatollah sayin her father touchings her in inappropreite places, kissies her neck and lips saying im just showing love to you the way rasoolullah (saw) showed love to faatima (ra) ( may Allah (swt) forgive me for even typing this). the ayatollah replied simply there is nothing wrong if what your father is doing as long as lust is not involved. also you may have seen pictures of ahmedinajad kiss khamanie on his lips again according to this filthy religion we called SHIAISM its allowed for men to kiss each other on the lips as long as lust is not involved. when i read fatwas like this i do wish saddam hussain (shaheed) was still alive.
