That was great. Mashaa Allah, you made a muslim brother laugh quite a bit with that story, may Allah SWT reward you for this and the great work of posting the translations, its proving beneficial alhamdulillah to ease what comes in this life in anticipation of the next.  May Allah  always keep u smiling brother.. ease ur worries.. keep u safe from harms way and the fitnah of zahir and batin.... Ameen..campus life itself is very challenging as one is under constant attack from nafs and shaytan.. every passing day brings its share raining fitnah on a feeble heart.. and to be safe one has to seek refuge in the umbrella of deen.. else this may turn into a flash flood sweeping away Imaan.. that my brother is very detrimental.. that without Imaan.. there is no life.. both in this world and hereafter.. sins corrode the heart.. scraping away iman bit by bit.. till it gets dark and rusted.. and at this stage no words of khair have any effect.. may Allah keep us safe.. and dear bro.. its indeed a very short life... not many make it above 70 these days.. so why not spend it obeying Allah and his beloved Rasool  The best shade to remain safe these days is to get acquainted with the effort of dawah tableegh.. i know u may have some differences with them.. say the books they read etc.. but that never matters as u may even carry Riyadh us saliheen or any other book of ur choice for personal study.. There are four ways of attaining self reformation which is apty described by Hazrat Maulana Qari Muhammed Tayyib sahab (rah) ( former rector of darul uloom deoband, India)   and in the words of the Hadith master Shaikh ul Hadeeth Hazrat Maulana Muhammed Zakariyya kandhelwi (rah) the author of Awjaz al-Masalik Ila Mu'atta Imam Malik  and finally in the words of Mufakkir e Islam Hazrat Maulana Shaikh Syed Abul Hasan Ali sahab Nadwi (rah)  (excerpts from the book Hazrat Mufti Mahmood hasan sahib Gangohi (rah) and the Tablighi jamaat) so dear bro im not asking u to go for khurooj rt away.. but remaining connected with them shall guard that flame of iman and help to make it grow luminious day by day.. Insha Allah.. and do remember me in ur duas.. shall get back with ur Hoors shortly insha Allah..  wa assalam.. |

    Gazing at the Hoor for Forty years page 74-76 (interpretation) Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar  while narrating a lengthy tradition..wherein is mentioned the admission of an ordinary jannati gaining access to jannah.. says at the end that..When he reaches the crest of his dominion.. shall be attended by his servants.. who would bring him food and water.. by which he shall be satiated.. Thereafter they shall announce that now let him rest in commune with his wives.. Meanwhile his gaze shall settle on a beautiful woman..who is resting on a throne.. attired in seventy garments..the colour of each distinct from the other.. He would see the marrow of her ankle through flesh.. blood.. bone and garments.. bewildered he shall ask her 'who are you..' and she would reply him saying 'Iam one of the many hoors who are kept hidden for you..' he shall turn towards her.. and by this gazing itself forty years shall pass away.. Then when his eyes shall cast upon the other chamber he would see yet another damsel much more prettier than before.. Who would say .. ‘have I no share in you..’ and this jannati shall approach her in forty years.. without even moving his eyes.. (P:304,Vol:4, At Targheeb Wa'Tarheeb by Hazrat Hafiz Zakiuddin Abdul Azeem Bin Abdul Qawi Al Munziri  (died 606 H)contd later  wa assalam.. |

having a crush on someone.. can she be my wife?
I'm curious to know this.. and I feel awkward asking this to a imam or scholar.. If you like a girl on earth.. who is a Christian.. and you really like her.. But because you fear God and you choose not 2 speak 2 her.. because you believe in Oneness of Allah.. and believe in the Divine Messengers of God from Abraham , to Moses, and Jesus and Muahmmad (Peace be upon them all) ... and no matter what you wont change that belief for any one.. and also you never tell the girl that u like her.. so you avoid her and stay away from her.. but you really like her.. and respect her.. and want her to be happy no matter what.. can she be my wife in Akirah (after life)? I mean if a person who does good deeds and does what he is supposed to.. I mean is this possible.. I am curious to know.. :/

Two Raka'ats of Tahajjud guarentees much more beautiful damsel in the Aakhirah than that christian girl..i know someone who in his teens was fond of counting Tahajjud so as to remember how many damsels he collected..  wa assalam.. |

Hadees..aqwaal sahaba wa tabi'een.. wa aqwal Aimma Mufassireen.. that can pull one away from indulging in haram thoughts and actions.. Jannat ki Hooren Ma'a Maut ka farishta by Hazrat Maulana Fazl ur Rahman Rasheedi sahab db Fazil Jamiatul uloom Al Islamiyya, Binnori Town, Karachi.  now lets begin with the bumper prize for those engaged in Amr bil Ma'aruf wa nahi anil munkar.. ( shall come to the Tahajjud part later on ) Interpretation ( the ulema on the forum can please correct where necessary) : Hazrat Abu Huraira narrates that a Hoor dwells in jannah whose name is "Ayna" ..whenever she walks.. she is surrounded by 70,000 maidens (servants)..equally on her right and left.. and this Hoor calls out ..where are those engaged in Amr bil Ma'roof and nahi anil Munkar ( im their reward)..(P:500, al-Tadhkirah fi Ahwal al-Mawta wa al-'Akhirah by Imam Qurtubi )contd later insha allah.. wa assalam.. |

I am curious to know.. :/ One can have different crushes every year and think 'wow what a mashAllah'. Especially if you dont talk to her, you will be more attracted as you wont know her flaws. So dont be deceived by 'this girl is so uniquely attractive'. If you are a frequent changer of environments and have frequent visual or incidental social/occupational/conversational contact with different females you will notice this trend of crushes changing every time, probably every year and realize this is all deceitful play of shaytan and your nafs rather than a rational conscience affinity for the girl, her personality and her character. If you are a few months or a year away from any contact with the girl suddenly the crush is no longer there. There was an awesome fatwa by a salafi scholar, I have failed to find it today - an audio tape which when you hear you will forget all this emotional confusion about falling for a single girl. That salafi scholar puts it frankly in a 1 minute video. When you hear it, your nafs is immediately effaced of all this fantasies just by the way he speaks and dismisses this illusion of this monogamous crush fantasy. Its speaking from even a rational perspective out-of-principle for a male to have a crush on one lady. WE are not monogamous in even marriage according to Islam let alone crushes which exist only in the mind. |

I forwarded that Hoor hadith to my friends; Masha Allah - they are excited. Is that book available in English? If you can translate some important hadiths from the book and post it here; that would be very beneficial for the youngsters. In the recent times, we saw many SF threads from youngsters getting attracted to opposite sex & they were asking our advice |
