This probably won't go anywhere good.

And for the record: No, that's ridiculous. Most Muslims aren't even Arab.

I just want to know what other people think. Cause at times it does crosses my mind that we are stuck with the imperalism in Islam. I mean look at all the practices The arabs did , upon invasion of countries. Very similar to what the British did to India.

Why are you referring to a website run by apostates? Why are you even paying attention when they cite a Christian's heavily biased account (which has been extremely criticized by even Orientalists) of the life of Rasoolullah as evidence?

Also, you are jeopardizing yourself by linking your beliefs to what is found in that "book", which basically states that Rasoolullah lied about nubuwwah to spread Arabism!

And what did the Arabs do except replace the false religions? Many who joined the Arab armies weren't Arabs, either.

Yes, I do read some stuff on the internet, But I also read reliable sources like the Shahnameh! IS ferdowsi lying too?
Ferdowsi cannot be relied upon to give an authentic historical account as his book is not meant to be a historical book.

And please, tell me the part where Ferdowsi attacks and insults the savage Arab invaders and attacks the religion they brought with them.

many of the greatest scholars were not arabs yet were still respected by the arabs, what of the story of Umar RA and his respect for Bilal RA who was abysinian. What of wahshi ibn harb RA an abysinian and how the prophet SAW forgave him and he became a great sahabi.

I can list 200 books writen by various authors from many different countries that state the same sort of thing!!!Go on amazon.com or your local library, and search for histroy of Iran. You'll see what I mean. BTW are you iranian?
If you refer to any Orientalist or modernist author, of course he will spin some lie as to how Islam was the worst thing to happen to the Persians. Stop with your blind nationalism. Even Arab nationalism is haraam.

Show us any Shi'a scholar/ayatollat that claims what you have stated - that the Arabs destroyed Persian culture.

And no, I'm not Iranian but neither am I Arab. My "culture" was also heavily affected due to Arab invasion but they brought Islam, not Arabism, and for that.

Iranians who reminisce about Persian culture tend to be those who know very little about Islam or do not have a trace of Islam in their hearts. You've already claimed that you like secularism and don't want the state telling you anything. Tell me, if your "12th imam" came out of hiding, would you tell him to take a hike when he orders you to obey your religion?

But the 12th Imam is going to be kind, He is not gonna tax us,make us speak Arabic,Whip us, Rape us and sell us to sex-slavery.
Again, give us conclusive evidence that the Arabs did this specifically to Persians and if they did this to Persian Muslims.

There have been Arab slaves, just as there have been Persian slaves. In fact, most Persian slaves were owned by - guess who? - Persians! Similarly, Arab slaves were found amongst Arabs.

Also, who told you that your Imam isn't going to do any of those things? After all, your hidden Imam is himself an Arab.

Furthermore, the Safavids weren't Arabs and they were the ones who killed and virtually eliminated Sunnis from Persia to spread Shi'ism. They were in absolute power.

I urge you to learn more about your own religion before saying such absurd things as Arabs invading Persia to spread Arab culture when the only thing that the Arabs of that generation were ordered to do was to spread Islam, not Arab culture. No just Muslim ruler spread "Arabism".

I am not an Arab, majority of people on this forum aren't Arabs, majority of Muslims aren't Arabs...do you not read what you even respond to (as I've already mentioned that I'm not Arab)?

And how can your supposed 12th imam be Persian if he is descended from Rasoolullah ?

You've read "countless" fabrications from pseudo-intellectuals. Again, tell me, which Iranian Shi'a SCHOLAR has said that Arabs were this or that? Or which Iranian Shi'a SCHOLAR has said that your 12th imam is going to be Persian (which makes no sense because if that were the case, he wouldn't be from the Ahle-Bayt)?

Again, learn your religion. You apparently don't know much about your own religion of Shi'ism. You seem to know more about your Persian culture than you know about your religion. Remember, on the day of judgement, Allah won't ask you if you were Persian or Arab or Abyssinian - he will ask you about your religion. Remember, in your grave, the angel won't ask you about being from Iran or Arabia or Ethiopia, but will ask you about your religion.

Allah will also ask you why you fabricate lies against Muslims. And you have no idea about your religion if you think Allah will ask you if you made anyone a slave, since many of your imams had slaves. You also don't know much about world history, since slavery was not seen as negatively as it is now before the Western abuse of slaves and race-based slavery of the West. Even the pre-Islamic Persians had slaves.

I thought you didn't rely on Internet fables?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyrus_Cylinder

A false translation of the text – affirming, among other things, the abolition of slavery and the right to self-determination, a minimum wage and asylum – has been promoted on the Internet and elsewhere.[34] As well as making claims that are not found on the real cylinder, it refers to the Zoroastrian divinity Ahura Mazda rather than the Mesopotamian god Marduk. The false translation has been widely circulated; alluding to its claim that Cyrus supposedly has stated that "Every country shall decide for itself whether or not it wants my leadership."[35] Iranian Nobel Peace Prize winner Shirin Ebadi in her acceptance speech described Cyrus as "the very emperor who proclaimed at the pinnacle of power 2,500 years ago that ... he would not reign over the people if they did not wish it".[34][36][35][37] Similarly, in a 2006 speech, United States President George W. Bush referred to Cyrus, declaring that his people had "the right to worship God in freedom"[38] – a statement made nowhere in the text of the Cylinder.

I posted a referenced article. You're posting anecdotal "evidence".
