English is not the mother tongue of most of the users of Sunni Forum. We are all prone to make errors and it will be nice to have sort of regular and frequent reminder of common mistakes made by non-native users of this language. Mr Rafi Ahmed Masoodi, a senior teacher, has very kindly started discussing simple linguistic matters for our benefit. This thread is being created to discuss such matters that will help us in using English language correctly. Other brothers and sisters too are not only invited but requested to contribute either analytically or by providing references, resources and examples.
