Here are my posts that center around this phenomenon.

Lord Macaulay

1st Baron Thomas Babington Macaulay, Member of Her Majesty (The Queen of England)'s Most Honourable Privy Council (25 October 1800 – 28 December 1859)'s Minute on Indian Education on February 2, 1935 has the following, by now very infamous, quote:

We must at present do our best to form a class who may be interpreters between us and the millions whom we govern, --a class of persons Indian in blood and colour, but English in tastes, in opinions, in morals and in intellect.

Reference: Bureau of Education. Selections from Educational Records, Part I (1781-1839). Edited by H. Sharp. Calcutta: Superintendent, Government Printing, 1920. Reprint. Delhi: National Archives of India, 1965, 107-117.

By now this is known to nearly everybody in India that he had some hideous plans for intellectual subjugation of Indians. The irony is that by and large Indians in general and Muslims in particular are following the same route-the algorithm proposed by Baron Macaulay. And shamelessly. Your poor Alig would like to say a few things, in later posts, about Macaulian Blogs by Muslims, Lord Most High willing. For now a single comment will be sufficient. Both the Wikipedia page on this ideologue as well as his infamous Minute have the same sugar coating that is so widely used by the US of A and his allies to keep Islam and Muslims under their thumb-including their resources. The differences are very very minor. At that time they were protecting our interests and now they are protecting their interests. For the record tiger has indeed changed its stripes. To conclude if they are protecting their interests shouldn't we have the right to protect our interests? This is a simple idea but from the state of affairs it, for sure, will not sound very sweet to the ears of the beleaguered west.

Macaulian Blogs
These are the blogs by Muslims who further the colonial agenda in an era where colonialism is taking its last breath-even in its economic colonialism phase. Lord Macaulay's bill on educational reforms in India envisioned a class of people in India who were equipped with modern education, who were Indian by their skin colour by western in thought. This was to be supposed to be the vanguard of British Empire in its colonies. What a visionary was lord Macaulay! He is long gone but his ideas are still in action. Talk of eastern opinion to the eastern. Talk of Islamic opinion to the Muslim. Let alone the western people. You'll get the look as if you have talked a silly thing, if not an outright blasphemy.

Defending Aligarh Movement

Rather than offending the people around them Aligs can better spend their valuable time in defending Aligarh Movement. One simple consequence of Unity of Allah(SWT) is the unity of purpose of life. This entails some uniform standard for Muslim behaviour - in particular Islamic society can not be chaotic, free for all or a pandemonium is progress. It is strange the coming of Islam in contact with the west has produced precisely that. Here is a discussion group that looks like a troubled US neighbourhood. This will be alright if they would keep it to themselves. But they do not. Here is a comment about Aligarh Movement and Sir Syed Ahmed Khan (RA):

Aligarh Uni is in Aligarh, UP, not hyderabad. Mohammadan was the name given to Muslims by the brits. To be more disgusted by Sir Syed, read 'The Loyal Muhammadans of India'. Ask kamran if he can arange a copy.

AMU might have been mentioned in some lecture but those lectures are not available as of now on the above thread but the mood is clear. The topic of thread is a conference about which the Original Post says:

This month at Lewisham Islamic Centre we will be focusing on the Ahmadiyyah, the Shia, the Nation of Islam, the Sufis and the neo-salafis.

Clearly the group is trying to sow divisions in Muslim Ummah and any such activity can not be Islamic. The event is two years old but it will be interesting to follow their subsequent activities. One thing is already clear that this western idea of unchecked freedom is fragmenting Ummah from within - the intended goal of successors of Macaulay.

The second example from the same site is the following quote:

Any form of Muslim resistance against the British occupation of India was branded as ‘Wahhabi influenced’ and the British Raj desperately sought an answer to this ‘Wahhabi’ problem. One such answer came in the form of Sir Sayyad Ahmad Khan (1817-1898). Western historians honour Sir Sayyad as a ‘modernist and Islamic reformer’, but Indo-Pak Muslim history remembers him differently: as a traitor to the Muslim freedom movement. Sir Sayyad was employed by the British Raj, and was renowned for vigorously advocating Muslim acceptance of the invading forces, to the point that he called upon all Muslims to loyally become subservient to the British Raj and abandon any legitimate opposition to the British occupation.

Uh! What was that again?

Divide and Rule

British had this hideous policy in India-divide and rule.
It back fired rather badly.
Indians united and gave the exit pass to the British. And Indian Movement for Freedom became a legendary phenomenon. A phenomenon that is still baffling the people who should understand and describe it.
But the hideous mentality of the materialist colonial masters (club them with the rest of Europe and the US) was not frozen.
They continue the their colonialist ambitions by other means. Media and diplomacy.
One division they have created is the division of man and woman.
Women in society are prone to end up in disadvantageous situations. This is a social problem. Should be solved socially. Those who ignore these problems do so that only to their own loss and consternation. And they are answerable on the Day of Judgment.
This situation, that women have problems that are peculiar to them, has been thoroughly exploited to rule the Muslims. Here is a news article, from some time back, where this situation manifests itself.
See how perfectly Lord Macaulay succeeded? The reporter is either Indian or of Indian origin and the activist too is Indian, a Muslim and a woman to boot.

Verily we are for our Lord and unto Him is our return.

Devil's Advocate

The incessant media onslaught on Islam and Muslims has many repercussions.
One of them is the task of defending Islam and Muslims has become like being Devil's advocate.
The problem is compounded by the Muslims (and too many times Muslimahs) who are followers of Lord Macaulay. Here is one example of female graduated in 2009 from Women's College at AMU.
She has the tag of London School of Economics.
(And LSE tag is mightier than AMU tag, isn't it?)
Your poor Alig would like to respond to her atrocity in the context of so called gender discrimination in AMU later on but first few remarks about this blog itself.
She is a self-claimed feminist.
Now who is a feminist?
The best definition is that it is a person (man, woman or otherwise) who advocates equal rights for women.
The central point in the context of Islam and Muslims will be whether Islam and Muslims are anti-feminist or not.
In the Holy Qur'an Allah(SWT) explicitly says that man and woman are equal. This is said in the context of husband and wife relationship.
From this Verse of the Holy Qur'an it is apparent that anybody (including silly Muslims) blaming Islam for being ant-feminist is dishonest-with apologies for bluntness.
But this does not wind up the story.
At the same place Allah(SWT) says that man has slight preference over woman.
This is the tie breaker in the family dynamics.
It is unlikely the people like above Alig (in all probability she is ashamed of being one-it is apparent from her Library article) will be impressed with this.
But then Allah(SWT) does not have to impress any body. We obey or disobey Him only to our gain and loss respectively.
But even the most advanced women admit that leader of the house is supposed to be man.
Most people learn this. Only few learn it when it is too late.
May Allah(SWT) guide us and this girl on the right path.

Here is an article that I intend to dissect in the vein of the thread.

Disgraced father of Pakistan nuclear bomb mulls politics

Pakistan nuclear scientist Abdul …

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - The Pakistani scientist who sold nuclear secrets to Iran, North Korea and Libya, may try his hand at politics to rescue a country he says has become worse than a banana republic.

Abdul Qadeer Khan, still lionized as the father of Pakistan's atomic bomb despite his fall from grace in 2004, may have some appeal ahead of elections due next year.

Many Pakistanis are deeply frustrated with their leaders over everything from chronic power cuts to their strategic ties with the United States, and they might welcome someone seen as a national hero on the political stage.

"I want to bring change and help the people of Pakistan, like I did back in 1974, when India test fired its nukes," Khan told Reuters in an interview at his heavily guarded Islamabad home. "Now, today, once again this country needs my help."

Khan's new movement, Tehreek-e-Tahafuz Pakistan, or Movement For Protection of Pakistan, is urging the South Asian nation's youth to be heard through national elections and break the stranglehold of traditional political dynasties.

The 76-year-old scientist says Pakistan's young people should stop wasting time watching "useless" current affairs talk shows which dominate the airwaves every night and purge the country of corrupt politicians through the ballot box.

"The youth is 47 percent of this country's population, they can bring the change," said Khan, sitting in his study, near swords given to him by heads of state hanging on walls and Urdu poetry books on shelves.

"They should realize the importance of their vote and select those people in the next election who are clean."

Khan was at the centre of the world's biggest nuclear proliferation scandal in 2004 when he confessed to selling nuclear secrets to Iran, North Korea and Libya.

He was pardoned but placed under house arrest in 2004 by then president Pervez Musharraf. The government relaxed restrictions on him in 2009 but his movements are still limited.

There is a widespread belief in Pakistan that Khan was the victim of an international conspiracy against the country's nuclear programme.

Pakistani authorities deny any connection to Khan's smuggling ring but have never let foreigners question him.

Many Pakistanis still hail Khan as the man who enabled Pakistan to respond to arch-rival India's nuclear detonations with its own tests in 1998.

He fondly remembers working on Pakistan's nuclear programme in the 1980s and how then military ruler General Zia ul-Haq once kissed him on his forehead when significant progress was made.

Khan said his movement would register as an official political party if it gained momentum. So far, it is winning support from businessmen in the commercial capital, Karachi, as well as from a religious party, students and others.

"Lots of army officers ... a large number, still believe that I have done my best for this country, they respect me," he said.

"They know if I were not there, (the) Indians would have beaten them now."

Khan appeared healthy and said he gets a check-up every day from a nurse. He said he gets up at 6:30 a.m., never misses prayers and reads newspapers and makes calls. In the afternoon, friends often drop by to see him, he said.

BROKEN PROMISES

Khan seems determined to change what many see as a stale political landscape that has held the country back.

Civilian leaders are often preoccupied by power struggles or tension with the military, which has ruled the country for more than half of its 65-year history.

Critics say little attention is paid to a dizzying array of problems including a fragile economy, a stubborn Taliban insurgency, poor roads and infrastructure and an inadequate school system.

"All the previous promises have not come true. People are jobless. They have no food to feed themselves. This country is even worse than a banana republic," said Khan.

Pakistan, created out of Muslim-majority areas in colonial India 65 years ago, could face the same fate as Arab states which were swept by revolts if more effective leaders were not elected, he said.

"Let me tell you to come out of the fantasy that nothing will happen to this country because it was conceived in the name of God," he said.

"All the Arab and Middle East and other Muslim states were created with the same ideology but what happened to them?"

Khan says he has received invitations to lecture at universities and he intends to make road trips to visit supporters.

"So far, 1.5 million people from all over Pakistan have contacted us," he said.

It's not clear whether Khan will manage to translate his status as a national hero into votes, especially since he does not have total freedom of movement.

"I am at the moment only enticing people to come forward and bring change through their vote by selecting good people," said Khan, who has a dog and nine cats, and feeds dozens of wild monkeys that descend on his garden and pool from nearby hills.

"It looks difficult but if people start joining bit-by-bit it can get successful."

Discussion forum and all chances are fired for the top of the reforms for humans. Elevation of the turns and college-paper.org reviews is a bench of the margins of the field. Options hurled for all humans. The elevation is termed for the regular results for the groups and agents.
