i wanted to know if this is true, i mean verified?
That they have dug up the body of the noble wali Allah Azza wa jall, shaykh Ahmad al-Zarruq rahimullah?

Where has the body been taken to?
Was it stil fresh?
Any thoughts on what has apparently taken place?

Prophets are alive in thier gaves. Allah is capable to make Awliya alive as well...
So many examples are available that prove the body of awliya could be remained in grave for hunderds of years as fresh as living body.

whilst it is known through experience (eg, the Sahahabah ikram radiullah ta'la anhum ajma'in and from the Khalaf al-sadiqin rahmatullah 'alayhim ajma'in, such as the noble wali Allah Azza wa Jall Imam al-Jazuli rahimullah). So i wanted to know if this was the case here, (ie., of the body not decomposing and remaining fresh) ?

Also what are peoples thoughts about them apparently (i dont know if it is verified), removing the blessed body of Imam Ahmad al-Zarruq rahimullah, do you think they were justified?
Any scholarly opinion from the classical scholars rahmatullah alahim ajma'in?

Imam Abd al-Aziz al-Dehlevi rahimullah called him one of the seven awliya with a special maqam in this umma, who are the other six? Would anyone know?

It probably depend on the intention of those who dig up graves...some used to be grave robbers. Graves may have to be redug to bury more people in them. I have read stories of Awliya dying somewhere getting buried and then other re-digging the grave and burying them again somewhere else.

I assume the salafis are doing it to prevent 'grave worship' which is a bit extreme for them to do..

It would be good to post that hadith on all the Salafi forums in case these particular sledge hammer weilding idiots in these places see it and think better.

Flatten them respectfully (using builders) to a handspan high if they must and then repair them nicely

Yes this is true. Sh. Ahmed Zarruq was buried in my home town of Misurata. I went there two years ago to visit him. Whoever is an enemy of Allah's friend, then Allah will make war on him.

This is a sign that the Mahdi needs to come to rid us of these shaytans.

of course they are not justified. one has to see that education to the masses is very important. you can't just go and detonate tombs and dig up graves. it will turn the local population against them. and also if one has to level the tomb then perhaps brother abduraheem's advice is better.

and they rebury whoever they dig up.

many people feeling strongly about this have resorted to open takfeer, here and also on other forums. i don't advice that either.

Sidi Ahmad Al-Zarruq (ra) - what an incredible figure in Islam.. and we are treating his grave like this.
This is not why i supported the Libyan revolution. Where is the government? Why aren't they protecting these sites?

The government are too busy appeasing their American Masters! Quite a few graves of awliyaa have been dug up and the authorities have done nothing.None of these revolutions will be of benefit.

Accusing others of bid'ah and shirk, tossing takfir around etc..then go destroy something.

The original followers of Muhammad abdal Wahab in Saudi (proto Salafis)...slaughtered many Muslims in Arabia because they made takfir of them as grave worshippers and mushriks...so it is their modus operandi.

Salafis aren't a monolithic group so you'd probably have some who would disagree or object to those action on different levels.

Besides other reasons, it's sad because Shaikh Ahmad Zarruq rahimahullah was/is considered a wali by Ulama' so they might be making war with Allah 'Azza wa Jall.

there are no 'original' salafis or prototype of salafis that give a template that others follow.
